Chapter 4

You woke up and got dressed, afterwards you went to make breakfast. Your parents would be at work so you had almost the whole day to yourself. Before you remembered you would have to spend some of it with berdly. Your smile slowly faded. well it wouldn't be that bad you could play some of dragon blazers at least. And maybe you two could study together. After you finished eating you washed the dishes. By that time you decided it would be good to go to berdlys house. To be honest he didn't actually give you a time to come over. So you just had to guess it. You went to walk to his house and because you to were neighbors you pretty much were already there. You stepped on his porch and proceeded to knock on his door.

You waited a couple seconds before berdly opened it. It looked like he hadn't got much sleep the night before. His feathers were messy and he was wearing what seemed to be a Minecraft shirt. "Y/n! What are doing here? I thought you wouldn't come for another hour or two." He asked surprised. "You never gave me a time to come" you replied. After a moment of silence he responded "Touché, well you might as well come inside since your already here." He seemed to roll his eyes before leaving the doorway to let you inside. When you walked in you were surprised the house was cleaner then you expected. You looked around some before "I need to go get dressed so can you go sit on the couch" berdly asked before walking to his room. You sat on the couch and started to wonder in your thoughts again. You manly wondered what his room would look like. Before the group project you didn't know much if anything about him so your guess was as good as anybody's

Before you knew it he came back out of his room with his normal t-shirt and his feathers brushed out. "So y/n wanna play dragon blazers two now!" He asked excitedly. you got up from the couch and you two headed to his room. You both sat on his bed, he seemed to blush a bit as he turned on the console. "i usally don't play on console but it's easier to do two player on them" as he said this he handed you a controller. "Do you know how the controls work?" He asked "yeah, I remember playing the first dragon blazers on a console so" you answered. Afterwards berdly finshed with turning on the console and loaded up the game. "The game will take a while to load. so you might have to wait a couple minutes before we can play." He told you. In that time you decide to look around his room. Not like you could really do much else

He had a desk with a computer on it to the side of his room. You assumed thats where he would play games normally. He had his tv right in front of his bed witch was in the middle of the room. Next to his Tv stand he had a trash can. And what seemed to be a used bottle of axe body spray inside of it. Other then that the room was surprisingly clean and somewhat empty . You looked back at the Tv and the game was almost done loading. But before you knew it, it was done loading. Berdly took your controller and added you to the game "so have you played dragon blazers 2 before or is it your first time playing it?" He asked "it's my first time playing the second installment" you answered. After that berdly told you about all the stuff the second game had that the first one didn't. You almost spaced out many times during it but you enjoyed listening to him rant about it.

"So any questions y/n?" He asked happily, you didn't have any so he finally turned on the game. After about an hour or two of playing the game your controller died.
"The battery's must have died from when jockington came over" berdly said. "Let me go see if I have anymore" he said getting up to leave the room. You sat there for a minute or two before he came back in. "I forgot to get batteries at the store" he said with sad tone as he came to sit back on the bed. "So what do we do now?" He asked you. You didn't have anything else in mind so you told him you would just go home. After that you got all your stuff and went home. Berdly said he would get batteries by tomorrow so you two could finish the game together then. There was still a lot of the game left so you would probably have to start going to his house after school as well. After today you didn't mind, he was actually kinda cool to hang out with.
