James POV:
Y/n woke up awfully moody. Fussing, rolling her eyes and all of the above. I didn't know what happened.
"Doll?"
"What?"
"What's wrong?" I ask, sitting next to her.
"Nothing" She spat out
"Darling, come on"
"I said nothing"
"Right" I scoff
"Shut up"
I grab her chin and lift her face to mine. "Don't be like that"
She yanks her face away and looks back at her songbook. "Fine" I huff, walking to the kitchen
I eat the cookie in the pantry, staring at Y/n write.
I sit back next to her and kiss her cheek. "Did you eat the cookie in the pantry?"
"Yeah" I nod
"Why?"
"Cause I wanted it...?"
"You could've asked me if you could have it!"
"I didn't know it was yours! I'll buy you another-"
"No, it's not the same"
"Y/n, come on! Plea-"
"I said it's too late" She complained, shaking her head.
I decided I'd give it up and go for a smoke. I fetch a cigarette and a lighter and go outside.
I instantly felt more relaxed as I puffed the smoke out. I normally only smoked when I was stressed, frustrated or when it was convenient.
This time it was all of them.
~
After I finished my 'task' I go back inside. Y/n was no longer in the living room.
~
"Where the hell is it?"
"What are you looking for?" I ask Y/n as she rummaged through the fridge.
"The chicken from the other day"
"Shit"
"Did you eat that too?"
"Maybe"
She rolls her eyes and walks away before I grab her wrist and pull her back. "Let me make it up to you"
"I'm good"
"Stop acting like that"
"Acting like what?"
"You're acting like a moody teenager"
"Sure" She scoffs
I pull her to sit on my lap. "What the fuck is your problem?"
"Nothing, James"
"Don't give me that bullshit. You've been acting like a brat all day"
She doesn't say anything. Instead, she rests her back on my chest.
