I looked at my aunt confused but she just turned away from me holding her dress an d stepping out of the carriage I followed her lead stepping out of the carriage but not before shoving the book up my dress hiding it out of sight. My feet hit the wood of the docks and as I walked the on it my shoes heels tapped in a rhythm until I reached the boat. I stopped and looked up on it apparently I was the second heir on board at least I would be able to get used to the fact of being surrounded by vampires before I'm thrown onto a boat full of them. I hesitantly took a step onto the plank that lead to the boat and then another and then another I followed with more remembering the last words my father spoke to me "odin shag za raz delayet nash put" He always spoke to me in Russian even though it wasn't his first tongue he thought it would confuse me to learn three languages at the same time seen as my mother made me learn English as well. I smiled at the memories it was one of the only ones I had Allison could always tell when I thought of the she said my aura shifted whatever that means which is probably why she looked at me and smiled. The clan leaders came to meet us on the docs and talked to my aunt they said something about a compelling stare 48 hours and something else i wasn't really listening so I just went down below like a instructed and sat at the bottom of a coffin with a lamp hanging above my head reading. We changed course I could feel the waves direction change from under me and the wind get stronger. That would be the... vyrad I flipped back to my book to double check. Yes I was right! Some time passed and the ship docked I know I was supposed to stay in the coffin but my legs were cramping and I was getting hungry so I got up took the lamp with me and placed it down on the bench outside it some walking round would do me good and besides no-one was around to see me reading up on vampire etiquette. I walked around first the kitchen nothing there just blood and overworked shadows then I went further I saw the dining hall where everyone would be eating well apart from me I was walking by the stairs when a boy jumped down from them and scared me I fell over my own feet and fell hard on the ground my book landing by my side my arms in front of my face shielding myself. I slowly peered round them to look up and see who scared me.
