Chapter 27

Laura's POV
It was a really long day and I was really bored
So,I decided to call my friend
I called Joanna
After five rings she answered"Hi Laura,How are you?"
"I'm fine,how about you?"
"I'm fine too so,what's up?"
"I was wondering if you wanna hang out with me at the mall today,Im really bored"
"Sure,no problem,I'll be at your house in like 5 minutes"
"Ok,see ya later"
I started getting ready and went downstairs to watch tv while I was waiting for her
I heard the doorbell ring and opened the door
"Joanna!"I hugged her
"Laura!"she hugged back
We got into her car and drove to the mall
"So which mall do you wanna go to?"Joanna said
"Um....any mall?"
"Ok"
We drove for 10 minutes
"Here we are"Joanna said
We got out and headed inside
"Let's go to the food court first,you can't shop with an empty stomach"I said
We got our food
Joanna got Panda Express and I got great khans(if you don't know what that is it's ok)
We started eating and started getting full
"I'm full Joanna,I can't eat anymore"
"Ok,wanna go shop now?"
"Sure,why not?"
We started shopping at forever 21 and hot topic
"Hey,lets go to Macy's"Joanna said
"Ok"
While we were walking,I saw Calum
Ugh,why does he always have to show up everywhere I go
I grabbed Joanna's hand and walked the other direction
"Ow,what the hell Laura?"Joanna said yanking her arm away
"Calum is right there,we gotta go"I whispered to her
Joanna saw him and this time she grabbed my arm
"Let's go and don't look at him"
"Hey Laura and Joanna,wait up"Calum said and was running toward us
"Run!"Joanna said yanking my arm
We started running as fast as we can with all the bags we were holding and Calum was coming closer and closer
We saw an elevator and went inside and pressed the button
"Hurry,hurry,hurry!"Joanna said pressing the button repeatedly
The elevator closed and it showed Calum a little bit
We started catching our breath
"Good thing....we got ...away.....from him"I said panting
"Y-yeah"Joanna said and continued"I was afraid he was gonna catch up"
"Me too"
The elevator opened and we went out
"Laura,lets just get out of here,I don't wanna see him around here anymore"
"Me too,Let's go"
We got into her car
"Hey,wanna come over to my house?"
"Sure,I'm already tired"
We got to her house and grabbed our bags
"Ok,here we go"Joanna said opening the door
"Come on let's go to my room"
I followed her
When I went into her room,her room had a master bed with a stuffed panda
She had posters of one direction and other celebrities she loves on her wall and her ceiling is painted baby blue
I got into her bed to talk to her
"Ok I'm really nervous right now?"Joanna said
"Why?"
"Duh because of Calum,Laura"
"But we got away from him"
"Yea,true"
"Um......Calum came to my house earlier and wanted me to forgive him but I said no"
"Good,because what he did was really really wrong"
"Yea but I felt kinda bad but I slapped him"
"Don't feel bad for him Laura your stronger than that"
My phone started buzzing
"Hmm unknown number?"
I answered it,"Hello?"
"Laura,please forgive me"
"What,Calum is that you?"
Joanna took my phone out of my hand
"Listen,Calum call her again and I will beat you up"She hung up and gave my phone back
"There that's better now he won't bother you again"Joanna said
"What if he does again?"
"Tell me and I'll beat him up"
"Um can you do something different like to not beat him up"
"Fine,I'll think of something else non- violence"
"Thank you,I gotta go home,Ashton is probably looking for me"
"Wait,why?"
"Oh Luke told Ashton to take care of me"
"Oh ok,I'll drive you home"
"Ok"
She drove me home on my drive way
I got out and took my bags with me
"Thanks again,Joanna"
"No problem,anytime" and she drove away
I touched the doorbell and Ashton opened the door with a mad look on his face
"Oh hey Ashton"I went up to my room and put my bags down
"Where have you been?"Ashton said with his arms crossed
"I went to the mall with Joanna"
"You could have told me,Luke told me to take care of you"
"Yea,but it's ok Ashton I'm fine"
"I've been looking everywhere for you"
"You could have called me?"
"I did lots of times"
"I didn't get any missed calls"
Ashton took out his phone and showed me a phone number
"Isn't this your phone number?"
"No,that 2 is supposed to be a 5"
"Oh ok fine well,I'm sorry"
"I'm sorry too for not telling you where I went"
"Just tell me before you go anywhere"Ashton said changing my phone number
"Ok,I will"
"So,did you get me anything?"Ashton said looking at my bags
"No"
"Why didn't you get anything?"
"Why do you got to be so greedy?"
"I'm not I just- nevermind"Ashton said going downstairs
I took out all the new clothes I got and put them on a hanger
I went down to get a snack in the pantry
I saw Ashton just watching tv and texting on his phone
I looked in the pantry and took out some Oreos
I poured myself a glass of milk and went back up to my room
I took my laptop and started going on Instagram
I saw Luke's picture with me in it and it said"Miss my girlfriend,I love her so much,she's always gonna be in my heart,she's so beautiful,smart,and funny and always put a smile on my face,I wish I can see her in person one more time
I was smiling and it was so sweet of him to put that
I commented on his post and typed"I miss you too babe,hope we can see each other every single day and I love you"😘 ❤️
After that I started watching some videos on youtube
My phone rang
It was my old friend,Bella
"Hey Bella"I answered
"Did you hear what happened last night with Luke?"
"No,what happened?"
"He cheated on you!"
"What,no he didn't,he wouldn't do that"
"Really,last night he went to party with his friends and met a hot girl there and they started kissing,hold on"
My phone buzzed and I opened the mail from Bella and it showed a video
"Go Luke,Go Luke!"someone said and Luke was drinking so many shots a girl appeared in the video and they kissed
Everybody started cheering
My heart started hurting and my eyes started tearing up
"How could he do this?"
"Well there's your perfect boyfriend with another girl"Bella said
I hung up and and got mad and I started crying
I threw all my pillows down to the ground and threw my phone and laptop down as well
I went to the bathroom and locked myself in there looking in the mirror at myself crying
I was so hurt
My childhood thoughts came back to me
I never told anyone I used to cut myself since I was little,I also never told Amber
I kept covering my cuts with bracelets and concealor
I remeber I kept a razor in my drawer I opened it and started cutting my arms and cut my hip
I started sobbing and screaming from the pain
There was pounding at the door
"Laura,open the door!"Ashton said
I kept cutting my wrist all the way until the lock turned and Ashton opened the door
I was on the floor holding onto my wrist
He saw the blood on my shirt and on my arm
"LAURA!"Ashton started carrying me to my bedroom and put me down on my bed
"Hang on,Laura"
He started looking for the first aid kit in my bathroom
He found it and took it out
Then,he went downstairs quickly and in 10 seconds he came back with a big bowl of hot water and a washcloth
He put my hand away from my wrist and my hip
He put the washcloth in the bowl and wiped the blood off my wrist
He pulled my shirt up and wiped the blood off my hip
He opened the kit and took out a gauze,clear tape,and band aids
He put on the band aid on my wrist and put the gauze and clear tape on my hip
"There,now you just have to change your shirt and your done"Ashton said
I went to my closet and got out a shirt
"Turn around"I said
"Oh right"Ashton said turning around
I pulled my shirt over my head and took it off and put on a clean shirt
"Ok,I'm done"I said going back to my bed and laying down
Ashton sat on the chair next to my bed
"Laura,why did you do this to yourself?"Ashton said whispering
"It's about Luke and Ashton you don't have to whisper,it's only us in my room"
"True,ok what happened with Luke"
I started tearing up"he-he cheated on me"I began to sob
"What?,why would he do that"
I took out my phone and showed him the video
I was quietly sobbing while he was watching the video
"Laura,Luke was drunk"
"Yea,but he kissed her"
"Yea,but-"
"No buts Ashton he kissed her and I'm heartbroken"
"Laura,he didn't know what he was doing"
"I don't care,it still hurts my heart"
"Your heart hurts on one little thing that Luke did"
"It's not one little thing,Ashton"
"It is,all he did was just make one mistake just kissing another girl that's it"
"You know what forget it Ashton"I said getting up
"Where are you going?"Ashton said
"Somewhere over the rainbow"I said going downstairs and I started running outside holding my hip
"Laura,wait you can't leave"Ashton said running up to me he was coming closer
I wanted to go to one of my friend's house
The only one I saw was Calum's house,I can't go in there well,I guess it's the only way to hide from Ashton
I went up to his front porch and knocked in his door repeatedly
Calum opened the door
"Laura,what are you doing here?"
I went inside his house and closed the door
"Ok?"Calum said and I sat down on his couch
"Laura,why are you here?"
I looked outside the window and saw Ashton running and headed back to the direction of my house
"Um...no reason I'm just gonna go now"
Calum blocked me
"First,tell me,why are you here?"
"Fine,I was running away from Ashton"
"Why?"
"It's none of your business"
"Wait,your cheeks are stained,have you been crying"
"Yes,and there's nothing to talk about it"
"Maybe,I can make you feel better"
"No thank you"
"Come on,please just give me one more chance,I'm finally a changed person and when I saw you and Joanna I wanted to say I'm sorry for all the things I've done,I just wanted to apologize"
"Fine,apologize right now in front of my face"
"Ok"He took a deep breath"I'm so so sorry for all the bad things,I've done to you and it was wrong and I'm so stupid for doing that,I wasn't thinking right and I-"
"Ok,I accept it,I forgive you,you just don't have to apologize with a big speech"
"Thanks Laura"Calum said hugging me
I didn't hug him back
"Wanna hang out here for a while?"
"Sure,why not?"I said sitting down on his couch
"Let me just get something in the kitchen"
"Ok"I turned on the tv to watch something
He came back with two wine glasses and a bottle of wine
"Oh hell no,I'm not drinking that"
"Come on,just have one taste"
I rolled my eyes and took a sip
"This is red wine,isn't it?"
"Yup"Calum said taking a sip
"So,can you tell me what happened?"
"Sure,I'll tell you"
I took a deep breath and took a sip
"Luke cheated on me?"
"What,he did?"
"I would show you the video,but I left my phone at my house"
"Tell me what happened in the video"
"He took lots of shots and kissed another girl"
"Oh,that's sad"
We just kept drinking and drinking until my vision got blurry
"More Calum"I slurred
"No,no more,come on I'll take you home"
He carried me home and stopped at my front door
"Hey Laura,what happened to your arm?"
"I cut myself"
"Why?"
"Because I was heartbroken"
"But still you shouldn't have done that"
He rang the doorbell

Ashton's POV
I started pacing around the living room waiting until Laura comes back
The doorbell rang
I groaned when she came back at midnight
I opened the door I saw Calum carrying Laura
"What happened to her?"I said while Calum passed Laura to me
"Did you do something to her?"I said giving Calum a death glare
"What?no,she got drunk at my house because she was heartbroken because of what Luke did"
"Ok,you can go now just leave her with me"
"Ok,see ya"Calum said scratching the back if his head and walking away
I carried her up to her bedroom and put her down on her bed
While I was about to go,she grabbed my hand
"Ashton,is that you?"
"Yes Laura,its me"
"Can you get me something?"
"Sure,what do you want?"
"Can you get me a glass of water?"
"Sure,no problem,I'll be right back don't go anywhere"
I went downstairs to get her a glass if water
I saw the door opened and it was Amber
"Hey Amber your back?"
"Yea,I was kinda getting homesick,why are you here?"she said yawning and rubbing her eye
"I'm taking care of Laura"
"Oh yea,I forgot well I'm going upstairs I'm tired,aren't you tired Ashton?"
"Yea,but I'm taking care of Laura for a minute"
"Ok"Amber said going upstairs
I went upstairs and went inside
"Laura,I got your glass of water?"
I heard her throwing up in the bathroom
"Laura!"I opened the door
"It's ok,Laura you just drank a lot of wine your ok"
She kept throwing up and then she stopped I helped her get up
I put her arm around me and helped her get to her bed
"Here"I said giving her water
She drank it
"You feel better?"
"yea,I'm fine"
"Ok,now you can go to sleep"
"Ashton?"
"Hmm?"
"Can you sleep next to me?"
"Ok,I guess I'm already tired"
I laid down next to her and I waited for her to fall asleep
After 5 minutes I looked over her and saw her eyes are closed
She looked really cute when she was sleeping
I laid back down and fell asleep
