Yujiki was getting ready for bed, taking off her gear and washing her face. Trying to settle herself down before bed, it was a low activity day. Cleaning rather than training, because of that she found herself too energetic to settle down. She had tried everything off the top of her head but now she was just stalling.

Suddenly she heard heavy foot steps and creaking floorboards, clearly trying to be as quiet as possible. Yujiki went to her door and slid it open to find Evolet shuffling down the hall, a stressed expression on her face when they made eye contact.

"I am so sorry, did i wake you?" she whispered nervously, standing up and backing away. Yujiki smiled a bit at her and made a motion for her to come into her room. "Don't worry about waking anyone, normally they sleep like rocks. Come on in, join me" she invited.

Without a second of hesitation, Evolet walked into her room and quietly shut the door behind her. She looked around the room, admiring how it had a personal touch. Yujiki clearly had more of a thing for decorating that the other rooms she has seen.

There was a handsomely carved wooden desk that on top of it had a sewing kit and scattered papers, she didn't allow her eyes linger too long on them to avoid snooping. Across from the desk was a window, with curtains thrown wide open. There was quite a view. The rope bridges that connected between the other mountains were in perfect view, along with the statue and coffins there were out front.

Next to the window on her left was a bed, big enough for two people and neatly made with a thin blue blanket and a fuzzy one folded at the end of the bed. To the right was a small shelf that had a few books, stacked on their sides to take up less space.

"You like to read?" Yujiki asked, walking over with a wet cloth in hand, rubbing it all over her face. "I like stories, I cannot enjoy them like you." She replied, turning around to face the cryomancer. Her hair down, tank top and pajama pants. Evolet couldn't figure out why Melora was afraid of her. She looked so friendly.

"Elaborate further on that" Yujiki told her, turning to the shelf and running a finger down their binds. "I cannot read, I was never taught. I was told that I wouldn't need it. I guess I don't.." she murmured, looking down at her feet. Never really feeling ashamed about it until now.

"Well, I got a new book I've been dying to read. Would you like to hear it?" Yujiki asked, pulling out a green one. Evolet took a moment to reply then nodded "Yes please"

The cryomancer smiled, and pulled two pillows off her bed and onto the floor for them to sit. "It's called the Big friendly giant, by Rhold Dahl. As the title suggests, it's about a big friendly giant who befriends a young girl."

A 3 hours later, Evolet awoke to a hand tapping her face. Not in a harmful way, just to get her attention. She glanced up and saw Melora staring down at her "Evie!" She hissed under her breath. "I've been looking for you, come on. I need help with my room." The sorceress pulled on her friends arm to help her get up but was surprised when she yanked her arm back.

"Apologies, M'lady. I'll be right with you in a moment, I would like a moment to fully wake up first." She explained quietly. Melora couldn't argue with that and nodded, leaving the room to go back to her own.

When she was certain the sorceress was gone, Evolet turned to the girl next to her. Yujiki was out cold, her head resting on the ice giant's arm while her thumb was holding her place in the book in her lap. It was clear she had fallen asleep reading.

As gentle as possible, the ice giant scooped up the cryomancer and placed her in bed, tucking her in so she was nice and snug. She then took the book and marked the page she left off at and put it away.

"Goodnight, thank you Yujiki.." Evolet whispered, before leaving.
