Yelling.

It was the first thing I woke up to.

"How could you be so irresponsible? She is your luna and your job is to protect her, not give her pills that humans can't take!"

"I feel horrible."

"And you should! She nearly died! Not only that, but the entire pack will never take her seriously now, she is human as it is!" The voice boomed and I faintly heard crying.

"Man come on, she's so-"

"You are so lucky she is your mate!"

I squeezed my eyes shut. Too many voices. My stomach churned, my throat burned with a lump.

My whole body was limp. Dry. Lifeless.

This took hangover to a whole other level.

My face hurt too and when I touched it, the surface was rough.

I started to cough.

I barely remembered anything. It was all just a big giant blob of blur.

I felt icky and disgusting and in desperate need of a shower.

I tried opening my eyes but the sun burnt, it's rays looking into me.

I whimpered. What the hell did I take last night?

I hated this feeling.

"Hey." My eyes snapped open in fright, despite the pain it created for me. When did he get into the room? A minute ago he was yelling at someone.

He was always yelling at someone and honestly, I was a little thankful it was not me just this once.

I didn't say anything or show any emotion. I only stared at him.

His face was lit by the light streaming in through the curtain. Besides his tattoo, he didn't look like a criminal.

He was beautiful. An angel.

He looked tired though.

He smiled a small smile at me but I didn't smile back. I couldn't move from this hell.

I was so cold though. Did I even have clothes on? Did I have a blanket around me?

My mouth was turning dry, as if I were in a desert with no water. But I was so so cold.

I started to shake. i couldn't control anything that was happening to my body but I was getting scared.

Colton's eye brows furrowed as he watched me shake as if I were having a fit.

"Cold." I choked out and he was instantly at my side.

He was contemplating what he should do. He looked up and down my body, looking so concerned it hurt.

My teeth chattered.

So cold.

He left suddenly, and I felt even colder and unsafe. I needed him here to protect me from evil.

He was an angel.

My fingers were numb and my mind chaotic.

His hands eloped mine again.

"Come on baby." He whispered and lifted me up again.

I clung to his shirt and inclosed myself into his body for warmth. He was so warm. I moaned in appreciation.

There was water running and we were in a bathroom. It was steamy and a good source of heat. He closed the door with his foot.

Colton set me down so I sat at the the edge of the bathtub. I put my head in my hands and leant down on my knees.
