Chapter 6. royal selection

We all walked toward our destinations

"She .. where did you met her?" Emilia asked , I knew exactly who she was talking about

"Oh her , she was about to get robbed by some thugs so I helped her" I said

"She is a royal candidate" Emilia said

chapter 6.1 . All royal candidates

Both Emilia and I are in the main room , I saw various peoples all around
And the Knights

I was wearing the anti-magic mask of shizue

"Now the wise men will enter" a old man with a big white beard said as some old men followed

"Now I need to go in the knight's row now ?" I asked Emilia

"Yes , rimuru " she said with a serious face

I walked towards the row where Reinhard was

"I expected to see rimuru since emilia-sama is also here" Reinhard with a small smile recognising me

"You recognized me?" I asked in surprise

"Your silky long blue hair, iconic cloths and flat chest is quite unavoidable to not notice" Reinhard says

"Eh , I am boy after all, my chest will be flat " I said while blushing ,even with my mask , Reinhard noticed I was blushing due to my body language

He showed a small yet a pure smile

"Nyaw , rimuru-kun " a voice came as Felix came towards us

"Huh ,you recognized me too?!" I said with even more shock

"Pleasure to see you here rimuru san" Julius said as he came towards us

"Huhhhh ,, you too!" I almost yelled out

"Okay ,how are you all able to recognize me!!!" I yelled out

"If I haven't met you before ,I would have mistaken you for a beautiful maiden but seeing your hair , I recognized it was you" Julius smoothy said

"Your chest" Felix said

"Your voice and hair" Alderaban said

"Now if I may be so forward, I , Marcos, the leader of imperial knight will direct today's proceedings" Marcos said

"It all started about 1 and a half year ago , when members of the royal family starting with the king , went into Hiding one by one , causing-" he was explaining before he got interrupted

"Yes , lord miklotov , for a drinking party , correct? One day we will face each other as rivals, but by sharing drinks at the same table , we will learn more about one other"She said

"No , that's not correct" the old man with big white beard now identified as miklotov replied

"Felix , this isn't what you told me" crusch asked looking at her knight

'so Felix works for crusch , this means Wilhelm must be also working for her' I theorised

"Oh , come on ,I said maybe it will be a drinking party " Felix said moving his ears back and forth

Anastasia who was observing her for a time said

"Hey now, even if she backs down , my opinion ain't gonna change , no need to explain the royal selection now, we already know , right?" Anastasia said looking at the two remaining candidates

"But shouldn't we hear thei-" Emilia said before she got interrupted

"Sorry , but I wasn't asking for your opinion" Anastasia said with a smirk

'Hmph , this commoner don't realise that she is insulting someone who have an demon lord her knight' I thought before realising I am sounding like Priscilla

"Oyeeee , I don't know what's up with the royal selection so i'd kinda like to hear the rest " Alderaban shouted startling me

"Priscilla-sama , I am told this man is your knight , you haven't explained the royal selection to him?" Miklotov asked

"Whether I have or not explained it to him you will still ramble about to it so what's the point of telling" she said

"It says " from the five capable of becoming the nation's next ruler, choose one priestess to enter a covenent with the dragon "

"Yes five , currently there are only 4 candidates , the royal selection haven't even begun yet but today.." Reinhard explained

"History is set into motion" reinhard continued as he smiled through his eyes

"Reinhard van astrea , come forward!" Marcos shouted

"Yes sir!" He said as he walked toward the candidates and wise men and bowed

" Honoured member of the wise men , I , reinhard van astrea , of the imperial knights , would like to announce the completion of my mission " reinhard said

" The dragon priestess , the fifth and the final candidate for the throne have been located " he said he rosed his head

Hearing that everyone perked towards him

The door went open as someone came inside dressed gorgeously with two people accomplishing her

"The one ,I , myself , revere as the queen her name.." reinhard said

"Felt-sama" he finished
