Hello, my name is Jason Smith. I live in Nampa, Idaho and I am a senior at Nampa High School. My life is very interesting. My parents are both officers of the Nampa Police Department (NPD). They are gone most of the time, so I have to learn to take care of myself while they are gone. I am an only child, so I don't have to take care of any terrible children. My friend Evan Jones and I like to hang out a lot, so I'm not home all the time. My parents don't like me out past 11:00, so I always have to lie about traffic. I'm always the one cooking dinner for my parents because they are too lazy to go through the drive-through. My parents love me a lot even though we only see each other for like 3 hours a day. I get treated well, I've never been grounded, and they buy things for me. While I'm at school, it feels like a whole different world. All my teachers like me and I get good grades. Evan and I have all the same classes, so we don't have to worry about being away from each other. I feel like there is something special between me and Evan. We hang out so much that I've gotten a strong feeling about him. We laugh at each other's jokes, finish each other's sentences, and enjoy all the same shows. I've never told anybody that I like Evan because they don't think I'm gay. I didn't even know that until me and Evan we're friends for 3 years. I was going to tell Evan until he kissed a girl at homecoming. I didn't stop having feelings for him after that. It's not like he's going to be with that girl forever. Or is he? I can't find out if don't tell him anything. What if he feels the same way about me?
