Chapter 5. Mabeast attack

Rimuru's pov

Is is currently midnight as i opened an random door which was Beatrice one

"Yo " I said , Beatrice looked up from her book

"What are you doing here, I suppose ?"

"Nothing much beako ,but I think I have been cursed "I said with a sweatdrop on my head

"Hmm , what do you think you know about being curs-" she was ranting but stopped Midways as she soon she touched my body

"Hm looks like you really have been cursed , I suppose" she said

"Then can you remove it? Please " I said to her in fake pleading eye

"And why would I do that? , I suppose" she questioned

"Well , if I die , Emilia will feel alot of shock and regret over as if she never brought me here, it could have been prevented , and if Emilia feels shock and regret , puck would take damage too , so he would be disappointed that you since you could have prevented it but you didn't" I said in a blackmailing tone

"Urghh fine , I will remove it , from wherever black smoke comes out , it is where the shaman have touched you " she said

I nodded as she started treating it , black smoke came out of my hand

"This is where the shaman have touched you "she said

"That's the same exact place the dog have bitten me ! This means the children are in danger " I said trying to act as shocked and afraid as possible as i quickly ran out of the room

I started knocking on rem's room , rem opens it while having an annoyed face as she was about to say something before i interrupted her
"The village children!! They are in danger!"I yelled out to her

She raised her eyebrows "oh , and how would you confirm that?" She asked

"I was cursed by the puppy the kids were playing with , Beatrice detected the curse on me , it is the dog!" I answered

"Well then , rem , you go with rimuru and check it out while I will stay in mansion and make sure everything is good" ram said as she walked toward

"Ok nee-sama" rem said

"If rimuru tries to do anything funny with you , karate chop him" ram said with a threating glare directed to me

"I wouldn't do anything like that " I said defending myself

"Also let's hurry up ,the children are in danger" I continued

After reaching the village , we saw that everyone was looking panicked , I went to a random villager and patted his shoulder , he yelped in surprise
