He was proven wrong as soon as he set his foot on the ground of the stronghold.

A deep, echoey voice ringed through the whole structure, almost shaking the ancient walls.

"What are you doing here again?"

XD's voice. He sounded bugged, that's for sure.

Techno and Phil exchanged glances, before nodding.

"XD, mate, we're here to talk."

"Talk about what exactly? The table, you mentioned earlier?"

"That...that too."

"For the table, it's a firm no."

Suddenly, the voice of his was heard from behind the duo.

Techno was fist to spin around and greet the deity in the most casual way possible, Philza following his suit while being a little formal in front of a literal God.

Wouldn't want to piss him off even more.

Because, him, out of all people experienced the wrath of the highest beings.

"Hey, uh, we just need that room for Syndicate. I promise, we won't be trying anything."

He reassured the God himself, since Techno wasn't doing a good job trying to do so.

"Come on, XD, don't be a boomer, just let us."

He stayed silent.

He...could trust them, right?

Even if they did somehow activate the portal, he'd instantly kill them before they even got to the End.

"Very well then. But if you try something, you're dead. Am I clear?"

"Yes, yes, got that, now put it back."

XD let out a silent sigh, sparing the duo a glance one more time before summoning a block in his hand and started placing the blocks in particular pattern of the portal.

"Yoooo, let's goo."

Techno cheered monotonously, causing Phil to laugh and XD roll his eyes then frown.

Shaking his head, he glared at the duo, who were already observing the portal closely.

Wordlessly, he disappeared into a thin air, away from them.

He observed Y/n, while being invisible.

And not just invisible, it was like he wasn't there with her at the first place.

He watched with amazement as she planted potatoes, wiping away the bead of sweat that dribbled down her forehead once a while.

A surprisingly warm breeze blew, so unusual for the cold, glacial biome.

Snow around Y/n started melting, daisy and dandelion flower buds blooming in the snowless area.

Y/n stopped working for a while, taken aback by what was happening.

This is clearly not normal.

First, warm breeze, now flowers?

What in the hell?

This is arctic, goddamit.

She looked around, surprised, to see that the snow covering the area around the house was melting too (global warming lol).
