Language and culture are inseparable things. Language is the instrument of communication using which we express our thoughts and ideas and communicate or interact with others in their daily life. If we are talking about language, we will definitely touch on culture. Many people think that the term culture include language, traditions, religion, arts, and cuisine. However culture is something deeper than these factors. It refers to the way we think and interacts with those around us. Why are they connected?

Firstly, the language and culture are constantly changing.For example, the English language that we use today is very different from Old English. We can also find differences between the culture in those times and in our time. It means culture and language change together.Secondly,language helps to store and collect cultural features. thanks to the language, people of the older generation received information from each other, and now we know the traditions of our culture.Moreover, language is a reflection of ourselves. Our words,expressions and ideas help us understand how cultured we are.I can also say that if you want to go to another country, then knowledge of the language will not be enough.It is necessary to learn the features of the culture of this people.This will allow you to feel comfortable and not embarrass yourself.

However,some people have another opinion.They consider that culture and language are not connected. they believe that culture does not depend on language.All the necessary information was recorded or sketched by our ancestors. this means that it is useless to store information using language . They also believe that culture and language are completely different things.Culture is some features that will always be there, and the language is constantly changing.

I disagree with this attitude.I think language and culture interconnected. I consider that it is thanks to the language that the experience of previous generations is accumulated. Academician N. I. Tolstoy also spoke about the close connection between language and culture.He said that language is an instrument of culture.

In conclusion I can say,that connection between language and culture is very strong.And society and culture influence the words that we speak, and the words that we speak influence society and culture.
