The Lie

Hello peoples!(^-^)/ *waves*

"Pffff, you blacked out after a kick in the face?" Ash asks, nearly choking on his barely finished burger from laughter.

"What about you?" He shoots back.

"In my defense I black out sometimes after being hit on the head by Misty's mallet." Ash states too proudly, smiling.

"You get detention either way."

"Why do you get to choose if we do or don't? Beisdes, how will you know if we'll go or not?" Gary comments rather arrogantly.

"Because apart from being a tecaher, I'm also the principal of this academy."

"That's a pretty good reason yet what do we have to do the beating?" Gary squeaks.

"I'm aware that your girlfriends are May, Misty, Leaf and Dawn, so you four shouldn't have let them watch or help out on the beating."

"May's/Misty's/Leaf's/Dawn is not my girlfriend!" Four flustered and blushing boys (apart from Paul who is just plain angry) yell at the smirking principal.

"Suuuuuure... You still have detention."

"Argh!" All five boys yell, throwing their hands in the air.

/\Time Skip to Detention Time/\

"You two groups shall be separated due to past... Conflicts." Cynthia informs them, closing the two groups in seperate classrooms in the basement.

"I hope she's right..," Cynthia mutters, going up the stairs, making her way to her office.

~May's POV~

I spot a few instruments on a circular stage, walking over to them, inspecting them. There is a set of a drums, three guitars, a piano keyboard thing, and microphone stand, all looking pretty old but in a good enough state to be played.

"Hey, do you guys wanna pass time by playing?" I ask, looking over a guitar while walking around the microphone stand, "Check, check, can you guys hear me? Let's play to pass time."

"Sure, why not?" Misty says while making her way towards the drums, making me laugh lightly, remembering the time Drew and I were saved by the Wynaut.

"What's with the laughter?" Leaf asks, raising a brow at me.

"That's for another time," I reply, waving her off as she walks over to the piano keyboard.

"Dawn, come on!" Misty yells over at Dawn who reluctantly picks up another guitar, inspecting it.

Elize picks up the last guitar, strumming it lightly with Dawn and I doing as she did so, "They're all tuned differently yet I'll bet they'll all sound even better together!" She walks over to me, telling me what to strum in which I understand and practice doing so, getting it right in no time. She then walks over to a shaking Dawn, telling her to strum it in a different way, sounding friendly and forgiving.

"Misty, you can play the drums?" Elize asks, standing in front of the confident tomboy.

"I sure can!" She makes a peace sign, "I've been playing secretly ever since I was little, just don't tell my sisters, they'll pull me out of here!" She pleads, making a face that looks like this '>~<'.

"Okay then, you can start out how you want," Elize says, smiling before turnung to face Leaf, "You can play the keyboard, can't you?" Leaf gives a sheepish smile, nodding with her eyes averted downwards to avoid eye contact.

"Okay, let's see how well we can do to pass the time!" Elize chirps happily, positioning us: Misty at the right and Leaf at the left in the back, me in the center front, Dawn and Elize behind me (Dawn at my left in front of Misty and Elize at my right in front of Leaf).

Misty starts out, Leaf following, and then Elize and Dawn, words flow out of my mouth, the microphine capturing every word I sing.

With the Boys

"Hey, look, instruments!" Ash yells, making his way towards an abandoned drum set, sitting down on the stool thing. He grabs the drumsticks and begins to play, grabbing the attention of his friends and the guy with his expert skills.

"You play?" Gary asks his rival, surprised about his skills.

"Yeah, I'm just not good enough, that's all..."

"Well, I bet I can play better than you at an instrument!" Gary comments, walking over to the keyboard nearby, playing it with accuracy and speed.

"Please, I'm better than the both of you combined." Paul says picking up an electric bass guitar, playing it easily.

"Sure but ya can't beat my skills," The nameless boy brags, picking up an electric guitar and playing it, filling the entire room with the sound.

"Well, I can play as well," Drew comments, strumming a guitar softly, smirking as an idea crosses his mind. "I have an idea..."

"Which is..?" Ash asks, motioning for Drew to go on, surprising the four boys.

"... What if we make a band? We'll get all the girls," Gary finishes off, catching on to what Drew was saying.

"Sure, why not?" Ashs replies, lifting his drumsticks up for an epic pose but they accidentally fall onto his head.

"Drew, why are you smiling?" Ash asks, rubbing his head as he picks uo the sticks, noticing Drew's smiling for the very first time he's known the guy.

"No reason, just be careful with what you wish for," Drew comments, smirking as he flips his green grass, remembering the time May and him were saved by the Wynaut.

"Alright, let's see how we can play together," Paul says dully, though none could see the glint of interest in his beady black eyes.

I won't get mad at anyone who didn't read all of it since that was test if you really do have patience. I may or may not be doing tests like this in the future, depends if I feel like it or not, besides, I may or may not tell you if I am.

Gary: Eli does not own any part of Pokémon and its characters.

Leaf: She also apologizes for any mistakes she made or makes.

Me: Thanks for doing the disclaimer and apology guys-

Gary: Now can Leaf and I go on a date?

Leaf: *microscopic blush on her face* Eli wouldn't punish me, right guys?

*crickets chirp*

Gary: A day at the beach! *keeps begging*

Me: Maybe...

Gary: Yes! *high fives Ash on the face by accident*

Me: Or maybe not. Who knows?^-^
