"Will Zayn come with you?"

Liam furrowed his brows putting his cup of hot chocolate down "Come with me... Where?"

"The winter formal!" Dylan said taking a bit of their cinnabon

"The what?"

They gave liam an unimpressed look "Have you not been focusing on the school assembly for the past week?"

"I uhh... Have been reaching as its been ending... So no not really"

Cas sighed "You know how every year the seniors get a dance in December?" Liam nodded "Every year there's a collective choice on what the theme should"

"Oh... When is it?"

"New years eve"

Liam frowned "Oh..."

"Yeah it'll be from New year's eve till new years"

Liam sighed "I didn't... Know"

"Hey, Zayn can still-"

"He's busy studying for his finals right now... Plus recently all the flights till here have been cancelled, The flight Zayn has booked was delayed until the 10th and then it got delayed again until further notice"

Dylan frowned "He can still make it..."

Liam sighed "I just hope he comes back safely..."

"Liam, every year during the time for this dance, you get so excited and talk about how you cant wait for our year... You can't seriously say it lost its meaning to you"

Liam shook his head "Oh no... I still want to go, its just that right now I just want him home safely. Yes, if he's back before the dance, I'll invite him there with me. If he's back after, it is what it is"

"Zayn!"

"Liam!"

Liam smiled "How are you babe?"

"Exhausted-Ayyyy! Julia"

Liam looked behind him at Julia who pushed his door open while talking a few steps in "stealing all his attention from me huh Julia?"

She pouted and stretched her arms for him, liam sighed and got up

He picked her up and sat back down at his seat and turned to Zayn

"What have you done to my sister loki?"

Zayn chuckled "Absolutely nothing, your mum called me on facetime yesterday and I talked to both of them"

Liam hummed then perked up "She calls me something now!"

Zayn smiled "Does she?"

"Yes! Julia" she turned to him and nodded "Who am I?"

"Bubba"

Zayn smiled and clapped for her "That's so good!"

She giggled and hid her face in liams chest

"She started calling me that after I started calling your father baba-"

"You... what?"

Liam blushed "It slipped out once- By accident, I called your parents mama and baba and ever since then they refuse to reply to anything else that I call them."

Zayn stayed quiet for a moment before he smiled and nodded "Continue what you were saying babes..."

"Your parents were having dinner here with Aisha and I called your dad by his nant and he just... Ignored me" Zayn chuckled and nodded "So I just said 'BABA' and he looked at me, since then I became Bubba"
