The wind blows harshly through my fur as i glare at tony with teeth bared showing the blood that stained my pearly teeth and drenched around my muzzle, *vicious growling* i let out a warning only to take notice the old wolf who seemed hurt by my actions "i don't want to fight you" he said inching closer *snarl* i only saw red with the taste of blood clogging my senses, it was only right for me to be driven by the taste "you know me-" he said while stepping towards me cautiously "-i would never want a war or for it to hurt you" he said towering over me "you understand why we are fighting, don't you?" He asked and i stare up at him for minute "if you are asking why I'm fight against the Eastern wolves, that is because i am a western wolf" i said sternly "we are not mates, leaving me to be only loyal to my father and my pack" i growled at him and he bares his teeth at the mention of my father "your father has kept us apart long enough!" He growled and turns to see my father in the distance with a look i can only describe as a murderous glare causing only one thought to pop in my head 'he means to kill my father' i thought, and my switch for love was turned off with only anger being my alley i quickly lunged at him and push him towards the ground, we begin to tussle around while i try to score a few bites but he proceeded to finned me off by moving and also nipping at my neck but not drawing blood in refusal to hurt me *growling* i grew frustrated and restless allowing him the upper paw and to throw me to the ground an pin me down with his heavy paws *snarl* I lunged up trying to snap at his face but he didn't even flinch as I was only inches away from ripping his nose off "I'm going to rip out your throat!" I growled angrily as i try to fight against his weight that he's using against me, he bares his teeth, showing off his large k-nines and he glared down at me, and for once i was intimidated by someone an that was him, i brace myself for the fatal wound he was going to cause as he lunged at my neck, i stare up at the sky wide eyes as he pants heavily in the crook of my neck "i thought you said you'll try your very best not to rip my throat out?" He huffed and gazed over at me but I stayed silent while staring at the clouds 'he didn't kill me' I thought a bit speechless "say something!" He growled at me and I slightly opened my mouth but before I could speak- "stampede! Stampede!" Kate yelled out towards the wolves, I gazed over to see a dust cloud following behind a large amount of caribou running towards us, Tony was quick to get off of me and grabbed my cruff to yank me up to my feet "everyone, run! Run!" Father yelled out and the wolves quickly scattered leaving only dad Tony and me "to the sides of the valley!" Tony yelled out, once we knew all the wolves were cleared out, it was our turn "come on" dad yelled towards us and we rush to the other side but i only make it so far before-*Gah!* I quickly stop at the sound of Tony in distress causing that switch to be turned back on, I turn back and rush to his side "it's that darn disk in my back!" He said in pain "what is it?" Dad asked while gazing at us then back at the caribou charging right at us "it's his back" i said and look down to lock eyes with him "this is going to hurt" i said and swiftly hit my paw on his arched back *yelp* Dad ran in front of us "come on!" he ordered "hurry tony" i said as i ran by his side, we almost made it to the other side but for a caribou to block dad from crossing over and that's when i looked around to then notice that we were trapped in the middle, surrounded by caribou that are threatening to trample us "come on Tony! faster!" Dad ordered *heavy breathing* i gaze over at tony pushing himself as best he could *low growl* i pull back and proceeded to snap at the caribou that was crowding us *vicious barking* my attempts seem to have worked and made space for my father and Tony "Y/n!" Dad yelled out glancing over his shoulder "keep going, I'll try to keep them at bay" i shouted out as i nip at their ankles, the caribou seemed to understand to back off only to forget it minutes later and try to trample me but i harshly bite one of them *cries in pain* They move back and try their very best to avoid me while I bare my teeth at any who dare try to move out of line "look!" Dad yelled out and i gaze up to see kate and the grey omega flying in a tree trunk and to soon crash land in front of dad and tony which they quickly took advantage of and jumped over the trunk to then hide behind, and i was thinking about rushing towards the trunk as well to hide but-"Kate!" Humphrey yelled out looking at kate who had been struck by a caribou, the grey wolf then lunged over kate to protect her from any more fatal blows *low growl* i jump onto the trunk causing the male wolves below me look up at me, *snarling/growling* i snap at the caribou that come my way making them move around the trunk *faint growling/snarling* i glance over to my left to see my dad snapping at them to keep at bay and i glance over to my right to see tony doing the same, the caribou finally passed along with the dirt fog that was soon blown away only to reveal the sight of kate lying on the ground, lifeless, and Humphrey staring down at her with great sadness "kate, kate" he called out begging for a response "please, kate" he said with a strained tone "please, you can't do this" he said in the break of tears and gently started nudging her wanting her to wake up but her eyes stayed closed, he then lays over her to give a hug and with his muzzle near her ear and mutters the words that hold sentiment value "i love you" he said and slowly moves away, he then lifts his head up *howling* i slowly leave tony's side along with my father who does the same, we walk over towards kate and sit down *both howling* i raised my head up as i howl mourning over my sister, and soon both packs join together and howl over the death of kate, our mournful cries fill the air for a moment before we fell silent once more, i lower my head and to lean against my father who gently rubs his cheek against mine to show comfort "kate!" Humphrey said surprised and we looked down at her to see her struggling to stand "Humphrey?" She said, gazing up at him "i thought I'd lost you" he said and she smiled at him while slowly shaking her head, she then took notice of everyone staring at her as she sat up "is everyone staring at us?" She asked with a confused expression "well, no not...not every...well, yeah. Now they are" he said with a smile "oh darn, 'cause i wanted to tell you something" she said sitting up with their faces only a few inches apart *whispering* she whispers in his ear and to see the grey wolf soon wagging his tail "can't believe i almost shed a tear" i growled under my breath *low chuckling* my father holds me tight "do you always need a reason to be emotional?" He asked with an amused tone "yes, it prevents me from acting out like my mother" i said holding my head high *faint giggling* I gazed over at the scene "this is going to make me barf" i said with disgust and started to walk off 'what a day' i thought and let out a huff "Garth!?" Lilly yelled out i glance over to see her tackle him to the ground and began to rub noses *gag* I look away "alpha!" Hutch yelled out and rushes to my side *heavy breathing* I gazed over at him with a concerned look "hutch, why are you out of breath?" I asked tilting my head and he looks up at me "there-there's a group of alpha's coming towards you" he huffed *soft giggling* i cover my mouth at his words "that's ridiculous" i said amused on how that sounds and he opens his mouth about to speak but to be cut off- or practically pushed away by a group of alpha's from both western and Eastern packs, i was in shock that it was true but i kept my composure and try to survive this encounter, they stare at me with big eyes and drool leaking from the corner of their mouths 'come on, you've took on a whole stampede of caribou, this is nothing' i thought with determination "hello boys" i said with a tone that made their heads turn and i was about to say something until a large shadow engulfed me and peered at the edge of the group of males paws "get lost" voice growled *whimpering* the wolves quickly back off and i turn around to have a chest full of fur in my face "you should work on your social skills" i said looking up at tony "those pups don't deserve my skills" he said with a tone while glaring in the direction where the males scattered off to "my my, Alpha are you getting protective over me?" i asked with seductive tone as i stare up at him longingly *low growl* He swiftly grabs hold of me, pulling me close where our muzzles are only inches apart and we stare into each other's eyes before rubbing his nose against mine "Better prepare for tonight darling" he said with a husky tone "what do you have in mind?" I asked in a teasing manner and he licked his lips "you'll be mine, that's all you need to know" he said and i smiled at him "still being a mysterious wolf, are we?" I said and he let out a husky groan "i may have got a scent, that you like that" he said pulling me closer towards him "i can't wait" i said as i stared deeply in his eyes.
