I know, I know, you want to go,
But stay. I'll tell you why you can.
I know it's been hard,
I know you've been hurt,
But it's not so bad as it seems.
You of course know the animals, the children, the rainbows,
You know the wind blowing your hair all around,
The delight of discovering a daytime moon,
The leaves that twirl as they fall through to the ground.
You know there's love that exists all around you,
It doesn't disappear when you forget that it's there.
You will not be alone.
You are not alone now.
So stay. Please try.
I know that it's in you.
Just stay till tomorrow at least.
