James Potter was never apart of the plan. Genevieve McKinley was confident about many things; quidditch, grades and friends. Genevieve was least confident when it came to finding love. James Potter wasn't always so easy to get along with, he was undoubtedly annoying but extremely attractive. During the sixth year James Potter began to pay more attention to Genevieve, throwing away his attraction for a certain Gryffindor girl.
Genevieve was sceptical of James Potter. Six years to notice her presence and suddenly he's intrigued by the Gryffindor girl. Was someone finally taking interest in her? Or was Genevieve McKinley just a toy for James Potter to play around with until Lily Evans starts to get jealous?
