I walked off his property, making my way home, trying to think of a way I'd come into contact with Rafe again. I was soon on the road I was on the day before where Rafe had picked me up, and a small part of me was hoping he'd scoop me up like before. As I continued my walk, I realized that wasn't going to happen.
When I made my way back to Figure Eight, I decided to walk around, scoping out the place. I felt like Rafe had to live here, there was no way he couldn't have. All I had to do was spot a red dirt bike, that is, if he was home or if it wasn't kept in a garage. If I did happen to find it though, I didn't know where I'd go from there.
As I continued to walk down the street, I approached the end of a driveway to a white mansion known in the OBX as Tannyhill. I admired the property, knowing some of the history behind it, and as I looked around, I saw a red dirt bike, black helmet, and a dirty-blonde haired boy at the top of the driveway. Bingo.
I walked up the driveway, and I smiled to myself when I saw Rafe in the driveway with his dirt bike. He looked like he was fixing something on it.
"Hey country club." I made myself known, which resulted in him snapping his head up and noticing me.
"Hey," He breathed. "Uh, w-what are you doing here?" He asked me as he put a tool down and walked over to me.
"I wanted to talk to you about yesterday."
"Y-Yesterday?" He asked and he seemed confused for a second before it clicked. "Did you-"
"I thought about it," I cut him off. "And after trying Barry's shit last night, I realized I'd be needing more of it. So, yes. I'll help you out if you help me out." I told him and I saw a smirk appear on his face.
"Good," Rafe nodded, pressing his tongue to the inside of his cheek and I could tell he was trying not to smile. "I'm glad to hear it." He now looked back at me.
"I do want to lay out some rules though," I told him. I had thought about some boundaries I wanted to lay out if we were going to do this, so that way we were on the same page about everything.
"Okay," He nodded and I took that as my cue to continue.
"First things first, I'm not going to do anything I don't want to do." I started. I was all for having fun, but if there were ever anything he wanted me to do that I didn't want to, I wanted him to know that I wasn't going to do it.
"Understandable." He nodded. "What else?"
"We are going to have a safe word." I crossed my arms over my chest.
"Seriously? A safe word?" He lightly laughed and I nodded, being completely serious. "Like what?"
I thought for a second, trying to think of a word. I smirked as one popped into my head. "I think coke could work."
"Coke?" Rafe laughed. "Really?"
"I'd love to hear any ideas you've got." I shrugged.
"Alright, alright. Anything else?"
"Oh, I'm just getting started, country club." I laughed. "You are going to respect me as a woman. I'm not just some object you can shove your dick into."
"I didn't see you as an object to begin with." Rafe defended.
I nodded at his answer. "Nobody, and I mean nobody can know about this. Nobody can know that we even know each other. Got it?"
"You embarrassed to be seen with me or something?" He grinned.
"I'm not here to make friends." I told him. "So I have to make it look like I don't have any."
"Oh so we're friends now?" He raised his eyebrows.
"Well, it would be kind of hard to have the benefits without the friends part, wouldn't you say so?" I tilted my head. We were going to be having a friends with benefits relationship, so I'd like to consider us somewhat friends.
"Fair." Rafe nodded. "What else you got?"
"If, for whatever reason we sleep with other people, we have to tell each other." I told him. I wasn't expecting to be going around and sleeping with every guy on the island, but I didn't know how active Rafe was in that sense, and the last thing I would want is to catch an STD.
Rafe nodded, seeming to understand where I was coming from with that. "Makes sense."
"And lastly, absolutely no strings attached, whatsoever." I narrowed my eyes at him.
"No strings attached?" He grinned. "What, are you worried you might fall in love with me?" He asked with a chuckle and I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
It wasn't that I was worried about falling in love with him, but I just wanted to make it clear that we were simply doing this for fun and pleasure for the both of us. We were not gaining anything out of it.
"I'm not worried about me falling in love, I'm worried about you, country club." I joked with him.
"In your dreams, sweetheart." He chuckled as he shook his head.
I bit my lip, trying to hide my smile, not believing what I was getting myself into. I never thought I would get to this point. Never in a million years did I think I would have a friends with benefits relationship with someone for cocaine. But he was hot, and the coke was good, I'd be dumb for not going along with it.
Once I set the rules with Rafe, we exchanged phone numbers since we would be needing them to get into contact with each other. We continued to talk for a little while longer, some of which consisted of the type of stuff we were into. I was excited to start this game with Rafe. He was the hottest guy on the island and I was getting free coke from him.
What could possibly go wrong?
