Dante awoke to a bright light shining. He reached out his arm and turned on the lamp next to his bed. He looked and saw that the light was coming from his watch.
"What the heck is going on", he said getting out of his bed.
"I'll tell you what", yelled Luna storming into Dante's room," That piece of junk watch you bought is messing up everyone's sleep, so I'll take it and dispose of it.
Luna grabbed Dante's watch and ran out of the room with it. Dante jumped out of the bed and ran after her.
"What's going on", asked Adam waking up and getting out of the bed.
"I'm not sure just come on", said Misty running after them.
Dante chased Luna out into the backyard. When he finally caught her he grabbed her arm and tried to take the watch.
"Give it here", Dante yelled trying to pull the watch from Luna's hands.
"No, this watch is going in the trash with all of the junk", Luna yelled.
"It's mine and I'm keeping it" screamed Dante jerking it from Lunas hands.
Dante turned and tried to run but Luna tackled him.
"Come on Adam their right here" said Misty running out the door.
Adam walked out the door was nearly blinded the light that seemed to be growing brighter and brighter.
"What the heck is this light" said Adam covering his eyes.
"Stop whining and help me break these two up" yelled Misty at Adam.
Adam rushed over to help Misty pull Luna off of Dante. Then their parents came out and yelled for them to stop.
"Stop that right now, or you both are grounded' yelled Mr. Grey.
Then all of a sudden the light pitch black and the four of them were gone.
When Dante opened his eyes he saw Misty lying on the ground in front of him. He slowly got up and looked around. He saw that Luna was lying 2 feet away from him and they were in the middle of a field. When he stood up he reached in his pocket for his phone but instead he had his watch in there. He put the watch back and his pocket and searched his other pockets for his phone but didn't find anything. He ran over to Misty and shook her until she awoke.
"Misty", he yelled into her ear repeatedly.
Eventually she awoke and began to look around.
"Dante where are we", she asked in as light voice.
"I'm not sure where we are but I know one thing for sure, we aren't home anymore" he exclaimed.
"Well that's pretty obvious, we're lying in the middle of a freaking field", said Luna wiping her eyes.
"Well it's great to see that all of you are awake", said Adam walking up behind them. "If anyone wants to know I was out look for a place for us to go but there aren't any cities around here."
"Well are you sure that you looked good because I'm pretty sure that there's at least one city around here," said Luna.
"Well how about we all go out and look together", exclaimed Misty jumping to her feet.
They all agreed with what Misty said so they began searching for a city or town to go to. As they walked they tried to figure out where they were. They began to get tired of walking when Luna spotted a small town to the left of them.
The four of them quickly ran toward the town but as they got closer they saw that what they thought was a town want really town. It was actually a village.
"Am I hallucinating or are we really in an old time village", asked Dante shocked.
"How in the hell are we in a place like this, there's no way that there are places like this in Massachusetts, or at least not in our time period" added Adam.
"Hold up, say that last part again Adam", demanded Misty.
"Umm, not in our time period."
"Wait Misty you don't seriously think that Dante's watch sent us back in time", said Luna angrily.
"That could explain why this village is here and not a city, also why we woke up in that field", said Misty.
As Misty and Luna argued Dante pulled his watch from his pocket and checked it's date and sure enough it proved what misty had suspected. They were no longer in the 21st century. They had been sent back in time to November 1621.
"Hey guys check it out", yelled Dante walking over to Misty and Luna with his watch in his hand.
He approached them and handed them they watch. When they looked at its date they became flustered. They couldn't believe that cheap watch actually transported them back in time. They stood there in silence for a moment then Misty finally spoke.
"Okay, so if we're really in November 1621 we need to find our way back to our time", said Misty.
"But how do you suppose we do that", replied Luna, "We don't even know how the thing works."
"I guess we'll have to find out, but in the meantime let's find something to do."
Then Adam suddenly ran up to them.
"Adam, where are you coming from I didn't even notice you left." said Dante.
"Guess what's going on in that village right over there right now." Said Adam enthusiastically and out of breath.
They all look at each other confused about what Adam was talking about.
"Think about it, 1621, November, Massachusetts. "Added Adam.
Then that began to understand. It was November 1621 and they were in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Today was the day of the first thanksgiving.
