"Maybe he's in the dining hall...?" I wondered.

I began walking there when I heard shouting. I rushed to the doors and carefully opened them to make a big enough gap for me to see through. I peeked through and saw Mondo and... Taka?! Okay they were shouting at each other, no seemed like a bad time... I quietly closed the door and began walking away, they should sort this out themselves.

I somehow aimlessly walked myself up to the second floor when I bumped into someone. I heard at thud so they must've fallen to the ground as well. What is it with me bumping into people people lately? While I was lost in thought or whatever, the person must've stood up.

"WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOI-! I mean- Are you alright, (Y/N)?"

I recognize that voice. I quickly stood up and bowed towards Celeste.

"I'm so sorry, Celeste." I apologize.

She gave me her usual smile but it looked really forced. It was very clear to me that she was absolutely pissed. But why did she change her tone of voice so quickly when I bumped into her?

"Is there something I could to to make up for knocking you over...?" I asked, hesitant.

Celeste seemed to like that idea, a lot. I could tell cause her smile seemed to grow.

She chuckled. "Well I've been terribly bored here recently and I haven't had a partner to gamble with..." She trailed off, hoping I would get what she was implying.

I did and I mentally cursed myself.

"Fuck. I'm broke." I thought.

"I would but I don't have any money..." I trailed off.

A tick mark appeared on Celeste's temple but she still kept her usual smile.

"Neither do I, we'll simply have to use some poker chips I found in the library."

That made me confused.

"Why were there poker chips in the library?" I wondered.

"Okay..." I said, sounding unsure.

I knew that I would definitely lose this game, but if it'll make it up to Celeste and convince her to not seek vengeance on me, then so be it.

The two of us walked into the library. We ignored Byakuya as we passed by him and he ignored us. We sat down at a table and Celeste pulled out the poker chips from her pocket.

"Shall we begin?" She asked.

I nodded and she handed out the poker chips.

~ Time Skip ~ (since I know absolutely nothing about poker 🤩)

Yeah, so I lost. I saw it coming. She's the Ultimate Gambler, I was screwed from the start.

"Well, you won." I say, sighing.

Celeste chuckled. "You are really terrible at poker, aren't you?"

I blushed a bit in embarrassment and just nodded.

"Even if I was good I still would've lost. Nobody stands a chance at winning against you." I say.

Celeste seemed pleased with my words and my worries of her being mad at me vanished.

"I guess she likes praise." I thought.

"Thank you. And thank you for playing with me." She stood up from her chair. "I'll be off now, it was very enjoyable playing with you."

And with that she left me alone at the table. I blinked a couple of times before sinking back in my chair.

"Are me an Celeste friends now...?" I wondered.

Celeste's "Report Card" has been updated based on your experience with her.

I was exhausted from trying to figure out the rules of poker mid game so I decided to go back to my room. At just hang out there until nighttime. I sigh and then the scene in the dining hall I saw earlier with Taka and Mondo came to mind.

What were the even arguing about. I didn't pay attention to their words all I know was that they were shouting at one another. I know they've been at each other's throats for a while now but jeez, it's starting to get irritating. I rolled around in my bed before exhaustion overtook me and I fell asleep.

A/n: Sorry this was a shorter chapter, I honestly didn't really know what more to write with this one. But I hope you guys are enjoying this book so far.
