You stood there looking at your supposed dead best friend from away
As he stood there with his helmet on his hand
~Flashback~
You recently heard that batman's Second robin Aka Karma (no one knew his last name even bruce)
Was Killed In Action,
Karma, Your best friend who helped you become so happy everytime you'd lose something or someone
Who told you to embrace your weakness and make it your strength
You were now on the rooftop where he told you he loved you as he told you that he'd wait for your answer until he returned from his mission with Batman but he never returned due to him dying
You came here after your argument with Bruce that if he hadn't killed joker then this wouldn't have happened

~present year, 5 days before present night(its still a flashback but 5 days before the current event)~

You've recently heard of another vigilante that's going around Gotham attacking corrupted lawyers Drug lords and all that
You were in patrol with Batman to look for the vigilante until
You hear gunshots in the docks so you go there to find the red masked vigilante
Until you hear an echoed Voice
"Do i look Like Batman to you?"
He said as gunshots lit the dark place
You figured it out
He shut the lights to make it hard for the men to shoot
You turned your night vision to see that he's attacking on all blind spots you were impressed
Gunshots lit the place until he stopped holding a goon at gunpoint
As he shot the man killing him
"who ever is behind that wall, tell bruce i said Hi"
He said shocking you refering to the wall you were hiding behind
And most of all he knew batman's secret identity you left to to see him gone
You leave to report to batman what you saw
~5 days later present night~
You were in patrol again as you see batman fighting against the vigilante
You rush in batmans aid as you see batman get unmasked
"you haven't lost your touch bruce... I guess we should keep it even"
He slowly took off his helmet to reveal the familiar black ro red hair that you once knew
"what? Lost for words?  Im hurt..." he said jokingly
"karma... " you hear batman say
"are you scared that your greatest failure has returned? Or that i will be better batman than you"
