"Shut up," I muttered, unbuttoning his shirt.
"Unlikely," he whispered as he started undoing his pants. Somehow, we didn't get caught.

"I was supposed to finish a paper on my break," I pointed out, buttoning up my shirt.
"Oh, darling, but wasn't this so much more enjoyable?" he teased, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind.
"I will give you that," I nodded, tilting my head as he kissed my neck.
"So can we go to the party together?"
"No."
"What?" he asked, turning me around.
"Did you think you were going to convince me we could?"
"That was the goal."
"George, you know we can't."
He groaned, pulling me into him. "These rules and acts are ridiculous."
"I know, but-"
"No excuses," he interrupted. "Just say it. You use me for my body."
"Lord help me," I scoffed, rolling my eyes.
"It's okay. I'll accept it."
"You're a martyr, truly."
"I know. I'm glad you see it too."
I smiled softly, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Are you going to admit you're jealous?"
"Are you?" he countered.
"Jealous? Me?" I questioned. "Never."
He shrugged, leaning down to my ear. "May the best actor win." He let me go, brushing past me to leave. I watched him walk out, which I knew set me up for failure, but I was left with a blush on my face and a pounding heart. To say I was winning would have been a lie.

"What if I buy the tie you'll wear?" I offered to Cassius as our group walked down the roads of Hogsmeade.
"If I wasn't your friend, I would've ditched this whole thing a long time ago."
"Come on, Cass. You know if you didn't go with her, Miles would annoy the hell out of her until she took him," Celeste pointed out, linking arms with me to get extra heat.
"She could hex him," he pointed out. "I would support that."
"We would all support that," Daphne nodded.
"Support what?" Miles asked, walking up with Adrian.
"The tie I'm about to force Cass to wear," I answered.
"Why are you forcing him to wear a tie?"
"We're going to the Slug Club Christmas Party together," I shrugged, grabbing Cassius' arm.
"Wait, you're what?" Miles questioned.
"Gladrags will have them, come on." Before Miles could say anything else, we all rushed into the store.
"Well, Cass, it was nice knowing you," Celeste nodded, holding up a few ties.
"Miles is actually going to kill me, and it's going to be your fault," he complained.
"I'll plan your funeral," I joked, taking a tie from Celeste. I held it up to see it on Cassius. "I like this one. It'll match my dress."
"Green, how very Slytherin of you."
