I cannot believe the amazing feedback I got on just the PREVIEW!! Thank you all so much! And here is the first official chapter of Splitsville.

Dylan had made it to her car without having to push through the paparazzi and quickly pulled away to drive the five minutes to her lonely little apartment. Harry and Dylan had begun to look for a house in the area and had just decided on the perfect one when the shit hit the fan.

As she climbed out of the car and up the stairs to the building she was relieved to find that only a few cameras had followed her. When she made it in and up to her door she could here her cat Osiris crying through the door.

“Shh…I’m coming in.,” she whispered as she unlocked the door. When she opened the door Osiris began to rub up against and in between her legs. Dylan tossed her bag on the couch and walked over to the fridge. The few things left were all the fast food her and her best friend Gray had eaten the last week. “I need to go food shopping. Don’t you think Osiris?” Great now I am talking to my cat. She grabbed a slice of cold pizza and went to sit on the couch. She hit the power on button on her TV remote and instantly regretted it.

Her face was plastered on EXTRA. She changed the channel, Insider was reporting about Haylans Lost Love. After another channel change she was stuck between Bridezillas, and Say Yes To The Dress. She shut the TV off and placed the remote on her table. Osiris jumped up next to her and curled up on the blanket. Dylan began petting her and could hear the loud purrs.

She took another bite of pizza and saw her phone light up. She reached over to the table to grab it. It was from Kelsey, her best guy friend who had been her constant companion and was even more so when she had told him about the divorce. He listened to her cry, scream, and just sit together in silence.

How are you holding up?

She smiled and replied:

Other than not being able to turn on the TV I have to say I am holding up pretty well.

She looked around thinking she could maybe go on her computer but knowing she would again see her face. She felt her phone buzz again.

You need a drink and some friendly company. How about I come over with a nice cold six pack and we drink away your sorrows?

She laughed out loud causing Osiris to jump up and run away from the couch. She always loved when they hung out but it would not be a good idea. If the paparazzi were sitting outside it would be bad news.

You know we can’t do that. Remember last time? And that was when Harry and I were happily married. The tabloids almost tore apart our friendship.

She knew he would not reply to that because he hated whenever she brought it up. As she was about to put her phone down another message popped up. It was an email. David Wats…the divorce lawyer. She swiped the screen to open the email.

Hello Dylan Diamond-Styles,

Mr. Styles had his lawyers draw up the paper work. You are lucky your parents nagged you into getting a pre nup. Welcome to the celebrity life. I have begun to read through the papers and have marked what I think needs to be changed and/or altered. If you could please look it over as well and let me know what you believe needs alterations.

Your friend and attorney,

David Wats

“And now this calls for a drink.” She stood up and walked over to her wine bar and pulled the cork out of a previously opened bottle of wine. She was about to walk to grab a glass but then shrugged and just put the glass rim to her lips and took a large chug. She walked over to her desk and flipped open the laptop and began the arduous task of reading lawyer jargon she could never understand. As soon as she read a page a large box popped up ringing away.

Eleanor. She had been calling almost every night and Dylan kept dodging it like the plague. She knew she would finally have to answer. Click.

“Dylie? Dylan?” Eleanor’s face popped up on the screen.

“Hey El” Dylan replied half-heartedly.

“There you are!” El looked pissed, “What the hell?! You avoid my texts, my calls, everything. Why?”

Dylan slumped into the chair. She felt like a horrible person but the truth was she was a horrible person. “I am ashamed.”

“Oh Dylie” the concern echoed through the computer Dylan could almost feel the arm coming around to comfort her. It caused Dylan to crack and start crying. “Dylie…Dylan!” Dylan looked at the screen as El continued; “You listen to me right now. A divorce is nothing to be ashamed of. This happens everyday in our society. It is the way of the world. Never feel ashamed something didn’t work. Look at all you have. A thriving business, fabulous best friends, and the world at your finger tips due to the previous reasons.”

Dylan let out a small chuckle and wiped the tears away. “Thanks Eleanor. I actually need to go though. I was just about to start reading through the divorce papers.”

“Oh…you should invite that Kelsey fellow and his fiancé, Gray, over. They can actually bet there for you right now.”

“Ruined that plan by reminding him of what happened last time.”

“Dylan…” El didn’t have to roll her eyes to tell Dylan how annoyed she was. “Why must you try to ruin every relationship you have left? One failed relationsh-Oh shit….”

“Eleanor!” Dylan shouted shocked. She had barely, if ever, heard El curse.

“The boys are back.”

Dylan felt her heart drop, “Boys?” Her mouth went dry and then El’s face was gone and the call quickly ended. At that point Dylan could not even look at her computer. She shut it and grabbed the bottle of wine again as she stood to walk back to the couch.

She laid down and tried to rub the pain out of her temples. Bzz..Bzz.. She grabbed the phone expecting it to be Eleanor apologizing for the quick hang up but when she saw it she felt sick.

Lawyer sent the papers to yours. Read through them yet?

Harry. She replied as coldly and quickly:

Just got them. Lawyer just finished reading them himself.

He again replied:

Alright. Well it is pretty basic and you can just send it back when you’re done.

She rolled her eyes.

Harry I know what to do.

She did not want to cause problems but when he spoke to her like that she could not help but want to pull her hair out.

I was just making sure Dylan. You don’t need to jump down my throat.

She was jumping down his throat?! The nerve!

Whatever. I will read them over at work tomorrow and get them to my lawyer as soon as humanly possible.

They had become so callous towards each other. She hated what they had become. And when she thought of what they had become it caused her to think of what they were.

Please Review and Vote. It makes me feel happy and if I am happy chapters will come faster. :) It works for both of us :)
