JAMES POTTER WAS ACTUALLY SCARED.

Which did not happen a lot, even when he was threatened expulsion because of a prank that went a little to far. The one time he did feel fear ( that he can remember ) was when Sirius told them about his family and later on came to his house with a bruised body and tears streaming down his face muttering the words "I left him, I left reg."

But now he had to get dressed, it was his first date with the person he's been in love with sense before he can remember ( thanks to the lovely miss Jules madden ).And if I messed this chance up he would never be able to recover. He pulled his red flannel over his outfit, played with his hair a little before putting his glasses on and going down the gryffindor dormitory stairs where his friends sat on the long couch together.

"I'm ready." He smiled at his friends who all started cheering for him, praising his outfit.

"James I'm shocked. Absolutely stunned!" Sirius but his hand over his heart. "You look so good and you want to settle for one person!" Sirius rolled his stormy grey eyes. "I would have people begging for a date with me, not the other way around."

Remus, Peter, and Jules just stared at him blankly before standing and walking to the door. "Off we go!"

The hogswart carriages arrived at  Hogsmeade. Jules madden was the first person to get off, reaching her hand up. "Allow me to help you off, fine sir." She said in a gentlemen accent.

"Why of course, my lady!" Peter took her hands as climbed off the carriage. "Farewell, Sirius, Remus, James. We will see you on the other side!" Peter said looping his arms with Jules.
"Ta Ta!" Jules smiled and waved like a pageant girl.

As amusing that was, James was without a doubt shaking in terror. He had one chance. One. If he blew it there would be no lily and James. No more lily-flower. Not that there ever was to began with. If he played his cards right, maybe.....just maybe he'd have a chance of the life he'd been picturing for himself since he was a little boy day dreaming about the red-headed wonder.
Sirius was the one to break James out of his head.
