Chapter 1: Imprisoned

Emma woke up with a start, and she looked around and wondered where she was right now. Where am I? questioned Emma and she looked around and heard noises outside. Emma raises her eyebrows and continues to listen, but then the door opens, and she sees people holding guns. Emma flinches, and they call out the teenagers. Emma walked out with a couple of other teenagers, and they all stood in line. Emma followed the orders and waited to see if anything crazy had happened. Emma was put into a human prison where teenagers would get to work digging out something. Emma walked around after changing clothes and to the end of the walkway. 

I should not be going this way, said Emma, and she sighed and turned around, stopped, and saw it was an incredible view to look around. This place is enormous. Emma's eyes went wide, and she looked at the dig site. What is that? questioned Emma, and she cocks her head in wonder and heard orders going out. Guess I will head back and speak to other teenagers in the huts. Emma sighs down the walkway and goes to the hut she was supposed to go to. Emma walks into her hut, looks around, and sees all the teenagers talking. Emma walked over to her bed and wondered if anyone would talk with her.

"Yeah, guys, we should tell each other our names," a blonde female stranger pointed out.

Everyone said, "Okay."

"So I will go first; my name is Bethany Smith," replied Bethany. She looked at everyone else, and they all said, "Hi" or "Hello, Bethany."

Bethany smiths, and she waves at all of them. Then she looked at everyone, and they all started saying their names. There was Aiden Beckett, Jay Felton, Olivia Black, Ryan Ford, Samantha O'Connor, Jacob Walters, Steven Hart, Summer Brown, Dawn Morrison, Brianna London, Trey Gregory, Devin Anderson, Penny Thompson, Logan Peterson, and Thomas Walters. Everyone said their hellos, and then Bethany looked at Emma.

"What's your name," asked Bethany.

"Emma," she answered and said her full name, "Emma West."

"Nice to meet you, Emma," replied Bethany, and she held out her hand, and Emma shook it.

"So why are we here," Penny asked the others.

"Digging for that stupid thing that they are looking for," answered Aiden. "Since Jay, Ryan, and I have been here the longest. We know what we are doing."

"Okay," replied Brianna, and she looked at Bethany. "So we are here to dig out something?"

"Correct," answered Ryan.

"How long are we going to be here," asked Devin, looking at everyone.

"I have no idea," answered Jay, and he replied, "The three of us have been here for about a week or so. So we understand what is going on around here."

"So you only know what they are digging," asked Summer, looking at Jay, Ryan, and Aiden.

"No, we do not," answered Ryan.

"Well, from what I learned, it could be a spaceship," Jay replied.

"Your kidding," said Jacob.

"I am not kidding," replied Jay, and Emma sighed and rolled her eyes.

"So do we have a secret area where we could hide or talk to each other freely?" said Penny, looking at the three boys.

Jay looks at Aiden, and Aiden nods and sighs. 

"Yes, we do, and don't say anything to the guards," answered Aiden with a warning.

"We won't," everyone replied.

"Good, we are going to dig today," said Aiden. "By tomorrow, we are going to Dr. Paige and the other doctors and scientists to see if we can have a word with them. And to see if anyone would help us make a diversion to escape the prison the bad guys have trapped us in."
