Sunset clouds

My name was like a streak in the clouds
Above the horizon
Barely visible
You where watching
Watching me fall
Split apart
Now two clouds with me in the middle
Ever arguing
"Why did you leave me!" One part said
"You wanted me to leave" the other said
"Please stop arguing!" I yelled
One part joined a different cloud
While me and the other part went off
Then you grabbed my attention
Slowly moving toward you
Right before I got there
You left
To never come back
Where did you go?
Why did you leave?
Was I not enough?
Was it because the cloud split apart?
So many questions
The clouds may split
I may crumble
But you will linger
Floating in my clouded brain
The thought that you could have been mine
As clouds do though
You floated away
Into the horizon
Into the sunset
And into the clouds
