Meteors devouring the ground smashing into the surface, causing small cracks to appear around the meteor. Soon, there will be lots of gravity quakes along with a lot more meteors. No one knows when, or how it is gonna happen. All anyone knows is that a planet is about to crash into this place. This may be scary but it's too late, so say your goodbyes now because you never know if you're gonna survive. I know it may be May 4th, 2077 but this is the beggining of our future, so welcome to Lamentis-1.

Before I could speak, a meteor smashed into the ground like glass smashing when you drop it. Big, bright explosions flashed infront of my eyes as I closed my eyes, trying to adjust to the flashes of light that's stealing the ground, causing the ground to break beneath the light. I looked around at the meteors that are constantly smashing into the ground every other minute. It was like we were experiencing a War. All I could hear were people shrieking and rocks smashing into the ground around me. I could smell something burnt. I couldn't tell what had burnt but it's probably the smell of these rocks. I run away, trying to dodge the meteors. It was like they were chasing me.

I sprinted to a house and I stood outside, panting. I try to take a deep breath in, hoping it would help me relax but why would I try to relax when I could die at any minute? I knock on someone's door, waiting for a reply. "Come in," someone said as I slowly but cautionlessly opened the door.

I walked into the living room. "What do you want," the mysterious shadow asked?
"Is there a train station around here?"
A women appeared from the Shadows. A black dress, torn at the bottom. 'It must be a hand-me-down dress,' I thought to myself as a raven-haired boy walked in, staring at me with wide eyes. I tilted my head slightly with my mouth slightly open, revealing some of my front teeth. "I'm Rian," he said as he studied me. For a moment, I thought they would say something but instead we had a moment of silence.

I walked out, feeling very awkward of the whole situation. I thought I knew him but I couldn't think properly. I heard someone run after me so I quickly turned around to see Rian grabbing my hand and taking me to the train station.

At the train station, we saw lots of people waiting to get on the train. I looked at Rian, knowing that we needed to get on and that's when I got an idea. I shapeshifted into a guard and I grabbed Rian's hand. I took him inside but a guard stopped us. "Ticket please".
I looked at him, confused. "Excuse me Sir but I was personally called by the manager to bring this person onto the train so if you don't mind, I'm gonna do my job".
The guy moved to the side and I took Rian inside.

We sat down at a table and I shapeshifted back to my normal self. "I never sit with my back to a door".
Rian looked at me.
"There's doors on both sides so sit down". I sat down and a women gave us some drinks. During the ride, I rested my head on the table. Rian brushed my hair out of my face to see if I was asleep but I was still awake. "So do you have a lucky women or man waiting for you?"
I lifted my head up and I looked at him.
"I managed to maintain quite a serious long-distance relationship with a postman," I joked. "What about you?"
"He looked at me with a smile and that's when it clicked.
"A bit of both. I suspect the same as you but nothing ever," he replied.
"Real," I added as I watched him take a sip of his drink. "So love is Mischief then?"
"No," he replied suspiciously. I knew he was up to something. Something doesn't add up.
I took a sip of my drink, keeping eye contact with him.
"So you're saying, love is a dagger?"
He looked at me with a huge smile on his face.
"Yeah, it's a weapon to be wielded far away or up close. You can see yourself in it".
I made a dagger appear in my hand and I accidentally cut my hand.
"It's beautiful until it makes you bleed".
He looked down at my hand to see blood gushing out of the palm of my hand as I tried to keep hold of the dagger in my injured hand.
"But ultimately, when you reach for it".
I made the dagger disappear and I looked down at my injured hand before looking up at Rian, tears coating my eyes.
"It isn't real".
Rian looked at me, concerned. "Love is an imaginary dagger".
He grabbed my hand as he inspected it, trying his best to make sure that I don't scream out in pain.
"Doesn't make sense, does it?"
I scrunch my nose up, trying not to scream as he inspected my hand.
"No, terrible metaphor". As I said that, there was loud bang that bursted my ears, making me curl up into a ball while holding onto to Rian tightly. He looked at me as he brushed my hair out of my face and tucked my hair behind my ears. He smiled as I looked up at him. He grabbed a cloth and he wrapped it around my injured hand carefully. I sit up and look around to see women in formal white dresses; some stained with a blood-like substance which was actually wine, white cardigans, white high heels and men in formal attire, the white buttoned up shirts, black jackets, formal black pants, black shoes. It looks like there is a wedding happening. I hid my face in Rian's neck, trying to hide the tears that were forming in my eyes because of my hand. I fell asleep with my head in his neck but when I woke up, my head was on the table. All I could hear was singing but it was so loud, so loud that I couldn't hear the meteors. I put my head back down on the desk and I watched Rian. Once he had stopped singing, he walked over to me. He grabbed my injured hand and he wrapped it back up with clean cloth.

The Next Day, we woke up to guards surrounding our table. "Where are your tickets," they asked? I looked at Rian as I made two tickets appear in my hand that was under the table. I gave them the tickets and they checked them before giving them back to me. I looked out of the window and realized that we are now on Earth.

Once we arrived, we got off in London. We stayed in a hotel and we found a family who looked after us both. Me and Rian were part of the same family. During the day, I looked at my hand to see that the cut was gone. That's when we knew something was up.

It's been a year and we still haven't found our true families. We wanted to find them but something was off. We went to the police station, hoping they could help us find our true parents but no one knows what Latmentis-1 was. To them, it never existed. To us, we remember everything. It was real to us but for some reason, no one seemed to believe us. We were crazy and delusional but that's when it hit us. We knew something wasn't right but what if Lementis-1 was all a simulation. Our lives were programmed, the place was programmed, the events were programmed. Everything was programmed. What if this was all an experiment for a plan, a plan made by the government? What if they wiped our minds so we think Lementis-1 is actually real but this whole time, it was all just an illusion, a mind trick, something like a dagger, dangerous and imaginary but not real. Sooner or later, we will find out the truth but for now, the government is planning a game, a game to mess with our minds. A game that can alter reality...
