I kept running without looking back, the hail storm didn't help at all. The shadow was still behind me chasing me with no signs of stopping.
I might've even admired their determination and endurance had the situation not been this.
The hail started falling even faster, hitting me as I ran. The pain was enough to make me collapse, it was just too much.
Yet my legs charged on, to goodness knows where.
