Tadakatsu would be riding besides Lord Jin Sakai (who is the video game protagonist),the lord of clan Sakai and a few other Sakai clan Samurai.After a few hours of riding on horse back,the small force of 80 Samurai made it to Komoda Town where they decided to stay the night as the mongols were camped at Komoda Beach.
Tadakatsu and all the other Sakai samurai retainers stayed in one house since clan Sakai was relatively small and couldn't even field more than 10 men at the moment due to them suffering countless losses in the Iki island invasion 15 or so years ago.The other samurai in the army from the other clans would stay in many different homes for the night,a small part of the force was made up of the straw hat ronin who decide to camp out close to the beach's.Tadakatsu would spend what time the army had left to sleep and gather his energy for up and coming battle.
Lord Shimura,the Jito,ordered a few men from each clan to scout out the mongol camp,the samurai from each clan could be recognized rather easily so each group of samurai belonged to one clan,the samurai from clan Sakai would be wearing black and white,Samurai from clan Shimura would be wearing red and white armor,samurai from clan adachi would be wearing blue and white armor,and the other two clans green and yellow with white.
Most of the men who stayed in Komoda town would stay up late celebrating their seemingly last day together as all of them expected to die tomorrow,simply due to how much the mongol army outnumbered them.
