Background
Odette
She is a beautiful 17 year old girl who the people of Outer Banks would call a pogue. She has brown wavy hair and she is shorter than most girls her age.
She lives in a small cabin you could say, not far from John B:s house. She lives there with her older brother who is 22 years old, he is never home though, always on the mainland crashing with friends and does not really care about his sister. Odette doesn't mind though, she is fine living on her own, when she's not spending the night at John B:s house. Her mother died giving birth to her and she always seems to blame herself for it even though JJ keeps on reminding her that it wasn't her fault. Her father left when the girl was 11 and her brother 16. They struggled with DCS for a long time before her brother Jack turned 18 and took custody of her.
She is reckless just like JJ but not quite. Her innocent soul tries to keep up with the wild pouges as much as she can. They have been friends for as long as she can remember and are really close, some would say too close but that's nothing that the two seem to notice. Odette has always thought JJ was attractive, I mean she would be a fool not to but she could never imagine JJ seeing them as something more than friends. She was looking forward to a whole summer with the pogues, partying, swimming, breaking the law and just living life to the fullest.
