Connie x Reader ✨Best Night of my Life✨

" Umm, h9w does the Ferris Wheel sound" Y/N looked at it, then back at Connie. "Great, it's perfect, Steven, you sure you want to stay behind?" She asked. My stomach felt better, but for Connie, I decided to fake it.

"Oooo, still feeling queasy, you guys go on without me, have fun". Y/N gave a a concerned look beforw turning to Connie. " Ok then, Connie you ready?" She asked putting her hand out for Connie to grab.

"Yeah" Connie grabbed her hand, and they started walking off. Connie looked back at me and mouthed "Thank you". I gave her a smile and a thumbs up. " Go get her Connie"

Connie's P.O.V
As we were walking towards the ride, I felt really nervous. I'm trying to think what I'm going to say to her, how should I do it? What should I say? "Ride for two please" Y/N asked, breaking me out of my thoughts.

We take ours seats next to each other. She looks away from me, looking at the view of the ocean with the moonlight on it. I take a deep breath, trying to relax myself. "Relax Connie, you got this, there's nothing to worry about" I look back at her, the moonlight shining on there features, the light making her eyes shine. "Idontgotthisidontgotthisidontgitthis"

"So, uh, today was really fun with you today". I look at her replying " Yeah, it really was, and you totally kicked butt at that ring toss game, I still can't believe you got all ten". She chuckles saying" Haha, I know, I actually got a baby Yoda plushie and he big too". "Hehe, yeah". The wheel stops at the top, waiting for new people to get on while the remaining ones get off.

I look at my shoes, taking a deep breath. I can't wait for ever, it's time. " Uh, hey Y/N?". She looks at me, making me nervous. "Yeah? " she replys. "Uh, there's something really important I need to tell you, and I've been meaning to tell you for a long time now". She looks at me concerned " Ok".

" Y/N, you and I have been best friends forever, you have made my life better. You were somebody I was able to talk to and express myself with. Meeting you was the best thing to ever happen to me, and I don't know who I would be without you cheering me on. So, Y/N L/N, I would like to ask... "
"Yeah?" She said.

I take a deep breath"Would you like to go out with me?". I shut my eyes out of nervousness, suddenly feeling the regret of saying it and ruining the best friendship I've ever had.

I then feel a hand on mine on my lap. I open my eyes to see our hands. I look up to see her smiling widely with stars in her eyes, her plushie on the floor. "Yes, yes yes a thousand time yes". She hugs me tightly, then pecks my cheek. I giggle as she kisses my cheek. I look into her eyes and I feel myself meaning in, my eyes shutting and suddenly... I feel her sift lips against mine.

Fireworks were going off inside of me, my hands on her cheeks as hers are around my shoulders, the kiss was slow and passionate, all of my love for her spilling out in that one, single kiss.

We pull away, her looking at me smiling so wide. " It's about time, what took so long". "Hehe, well it was hard, I mean I didn't want to ruin our friendship, but this turned out pretty good". She pecks my lips fast saying " Yes it did".

We sit in silence for a moment before she clears her throat. "Uh, hey Connie, could you hold this for me? " her hand was balked up, hovering over me left leg, "Yeah sure". She starts to lower her hand down, opening it to reveal... nothing? Instead, she holds my hand, intertwining our fingers together.

I blush, looking up at her, only to see her smile at me. The ride started moving again with our turn up. We got off the ride, still holding hands while she hold her plushie in the other.

We see Steven waiting for us at the gate. "Soooo, how was it? " "Well" we put our hands up for him to see. He then started squealing and ran towards up, scooped up up and spun us around. "Eeeeee, finally, my two best friends are together, yesssss". We giggled at him doing this. "Hey, how about a picture before we leave?" "Yeah sure" Y/N replied. We all stood in front of the Ferris Wheel, me in the middle and Steven at my left and Y/N at my right.

"Say Funland" "Funland" me and Y/N say in sync. I was simply smiling, Steven with a wink and a big smile, while Y/N had a smile with her tongue out and a wink with a peace sign while her plushie in her other hand. The park was closing so we decided to head out.

Me and Y/N were holing hand and Steven was at the left of her. Steven decided to head home first so we said our goodbyes to him. Y/N was about to head home herself.

" I had a really great time today Connie, and I'm really glad we're together now". "Ha, yeah me too, I can't believe it". A sly smirk came on her face, she grabbed my wrist and gave me a very passionate kiss making me blush red. " Believe it now~" she said pulling away. "Hehe Y/N someone might see us" I said blushing. She then pulled me into a hug, "Good". I hugged her back feeling safe and secure. We then heard a car honk, it was my dad coming to pick me up.

" Oh, I gotta go, do you need a ride?". She shook her head "No, I'm ok my place isn't far from here, so I'll be good". I gave her a nod, I looked back to my dad, then hugged her again whispering " I love you". I felt her tugged my jacket, then replying " I love you too Connie". We pulled away, saying goodbye. I got into my dad's car, and drove off.

"So, Connie, enjoy your day with Steven and Y/N?". I looked out at the night sky replying " Best night of my life"

When Y/N got home, her parents were watching T.V. "Hey firebug, how was your day?" I smiled at them, saying "Connie asked me out and I said Yess!!" My parents gasped, rushing to me and hugging me. "Congratulations mija, I'm so happy for you". She was so happy. After she brushed her hair after her shower, she looked at her phone receiving a message from Steven. It was the picture of them in front of the Ferris Wheel. She saved the photo then turned off the light and turned on the color lights around her room. She smiled so widely thinking about Connie. She went to sleep happily, hugging her toy she won tightly into a peaceful slumber.

You know the feeling when a story feels long then it's just short but feels long because you hands hurt from typing. Just me? Ok.
