I stepped out of the bus and looked up on the school in front of me.
"Wa-" I put on my headphones and walked towards Class 1-D. A class that I was assigned to.
Sitting down on the desk with my name on it, and waited for the class to began.
After that, a middle aged woman with a black haired ponytail walked into the class.
"Greetings students. My name is Chababoobashira Sae. I will be your homeroom teacher for this month." She introduced.
"What do you mean this month?" A brown hair boy asked.
"I will explain the rules of this school first. On the start of year 1 you will be given 100,000 points. 1 points equal 1 yen."
The class goes berserk upon hearing we will receive 100,000 yen. This raised a red flag in my head. If 100,000 yen were given to students every month, the school would require around 48 million per month- blah blah blah you heard this line like a lot
"Let me finish. In this school we have a system called stars. In the start of year 1 everyone will be given 1 star. Stars can be risen to the maximum of 12 stars. The higher your stars are the better the school will provide privileges for. For example, some stores will require you 3 star to eat there. Points you get are also determined by stars"
"Then how do we increase this so called 'star' sensei?" The black haired girl seated next to me asked
"There is only 1 way your stars can rise. It's through a system called battle."
Murmurs can be heard throughout the class.
"Battle?"
"What is that?"
"Basically you can challenge a person that have a star higher than you or equal to you to a game. You can challenge anything both physically or academically. From poker up to 100 meters running. The person that got challenged will be the one who choose a game. The winner will gets whatever they agreed to bet"
Does that mean you can challenge something other than stars?
(Basically a liar liar without skills)
"What do you mean whatever they agreed to bet sensei? You can bet more than one star?" Welp he just asked my question
"You can bet private points on top of stars. Did I forgot to mention there will be academic test every month? A student that has 2 stars or below will be given a star if you passed the test. However if you fail your total star will goes down by 2." Chababooshira-sensei explained.

"Also if you have no stars by the end of the month you will be expelled. Good luck" She then walked out of the room.
Sensei said we will have a free day today since it's the first day of the school.
I made my way to the mall within the campus.
The school doesn't allow students or outsiders to leave which is perfect for my situation. The campus provide entertainment inside the campus instead whether it be shopping malls, theatres, or even a concert hall.
Anyways, I arrived at the book store located on 2nd floor in the mall.
I walked past the light novel section and glanced at some of the titles on display.
'That time Micheal Jackson got reincarnated as a demon lord'
'A certain magical step sister is my ex girlfriend'
'Rascal does not think of angel next door who starts murmuring in Russian'
I suddenly heard a voice of 2 girls beside me talking excitedly about one of the books.
"You see that novel right? 'There's no way a misfit of a hero academia like me could be popular right?' It's a masterpiece!" A girl with black haired ponytail said in a loud voice
"But I think that novel is better.. The one with blonde hair heroine who fell in love with the villain" A white short hair girl answered. These two look like weirdo. I definitely shouldn't get involve with them.
I quickly walked past the light novel section and went straight to mystery section

I grabbed the most popular manga on the shelf titled 'The world only kaguya-sama knows' and walked to the cashier along side with some mystery novels.
The books are 7,200 points in total, I bought a hotdog on 'Subways' and walked back to the 1st year dorm. They handed me a key, and it reads '401'. I noticed a subtle detail that you can buy a duplicate of male dorm for 1,000 points.
The room is bigger than most apartments, and the wall was soundproof.
I lay down on my bed, thinking what future awaits me.
