Don't forget to comment on our book too, we appreciate it a lot. So without further ado start reading the exclusive 1st Chapter of Heroes meet Tributes

Leo's POV

WE ARE FINALLY HAVING A NORMAL DAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After what seems like a billion....no.....quintillion......nope.... maybe a zillion years we can finally eat ice cream without having to worry about monsters who like to eat our bones just like yummy biscuits and suck on our souls and make our lives sad! oh, I didn't introduce myself to you people yet! call me any of these; Uncle Leo, Lord Tinker, Bad Boy Supreme, Super-Sized Mcshizzle. And I'm pretty famous among the ladies because they love me and they think I'm so hot. They just can't stop being around me. At the moment, I'm the only one chilling out by the canoe lake eating my favorite ice cream flavor ROCKY ROAD!!! during my one hour break from the forges. Jason (Yes, he's alive in our book) and Piper are out on a special date to celebrate the end of the second giant war. Annabeth's planning the Blue team's next victory against the Red team. Percy is teaching some new campers how to disarm their enemies within 5 minutes. Hazel, Reyna, Frank, and the rest of the Romans are at Camp Jupiter. Nico is helping Will with a new patient (SOLANGELO!!!! the cutest thing in the world: that's according to ASh ,she is sorta addicted to cute ships, also WARNING❗❗❗❗: DO NOT MENTION KORRASAMI INFRONT OF HER, that'll get you into a great deal of trouble* , but I don't think anyone can argue about Solangelo not being cute, anyway, let's get back on the track......) what makes today even better is that the camp store is offering free ice cream thanks to Chirons request! so there was a long queue in front of the store. I got up after finishing my 7th Rocky Road it tasted amazing! I walked towards the store to fetch a cup but just then Nyssa came and told me that i got to get back down to the forges. So that's exactly what i did.

Percy's POV

I'm a teacher!! but I teach people how to kill not to do your math or how to write a proper sentence. I'm a bit sad about Tyson not being around at Camp Half-Blood anymore! I miss him so much. Anyway I'm so glad to be back at Camp after our journey to defeat Gaia my least favorite goddess. The past few weeks we did a lot of rebuilding after the damages caused during the rise of Gaia. Everything is calm enough here.......at the moment. If Annabeth were here right now she would tell me that I had just jinxed everyone at Camp with a new war or maybe even a new prophecy! I gave the little ones a five minute break so I can focus on Annabeth for a few minutes because I just thought of her. The newbies sat down looking exhausted, I mean I don't blame then, first time is always not that pleasant. I made my to one side of the Arena and sat down myself and grabbed the water bottle that was closest to me, and poured it allover myself. As the water touched my skin I felt refreshed and my muscles tightened and I felt so powerful like I can send every monster alive to Tartarus. Five minutes passed faster than I wanted it to. I went up and made my way towards my students but just then my wise girl walked into the arena deep in conversation with Nico who was leaning on Will ." You guys keep practicing that last move, I'll be right back" I said and the kids nodded before i turned my back to them and walked towards Annabeth, Will and Nico.

Piper's POV

Mhkshsjshsndk!! Oh sorry! I was...eating. These strawberries are too good to resist! But anyways, uhhh...oh yes! The war is over, and that means relaxing!!! Well for the time being anyway. Even though Leo insists it'll be a while until the next god or goddess decides to sweep us off our feet and place us in the middle of a full out war, I think it's the best idea to lock the cabin doors at night...just in case. Yes I know it won't really help anyone, but at least it gives us a (false) sense of hope, right?

My face must've been scrunched up all weird from worrying about the war because Jason gave me a weird look. A look that startled me so much my strawberry flew out of my hand and landed in a bush 5 feet away! Umm...ok that's not really what I pictured would happen on this picnic. I was just about to make a really good excuse for why that happened when Annabeth and Percy (holding hands no doubt, and they say we're always being too lovey-dovey) and Nico and Will (oh no here it comes....EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE OH MY GODS THEY'RE TOO CUTEEEEEE!!! MY HEART IS GOING TO EXPLODE!!!!!! Hehe sorry, I'm a child of Aphrodite, I just can't help it) nearing the lake. Percy spotted me and Jason together and posited at us. He sauntered over to our little spot under a canopy of trees (perfect for a picnic on a sunny day I might add),

"ooooh what are you guys doing?" Percy returned to his spot next to Annabeth.

"Just out for a picnic" I replied, folding the picnic blanket.

"OHH a picnic you say?" He says in a veryyy exaggerated British voice.

I giggle and catch on, changing my voice into a British accent too. "Why yes, care to join us for a spot of tea?"

I turned up my nose to look like one of those snooty aristocrats. "Would you like some scones to go with your tea?"

"Why yes my good madame, I would very well like a scone to go with my tea." He bowed down very low and everyone burst out into raucous peels of laughter.

It felt good to goof around and be normal people for once!
