Growing up in a rich family is what most people dream of. They think life is easy when you're rich. But in my case, being rich was never what I truly wanted.
"You should do this. You should be like this. You should avoid that. You shouldn't be like that." Nakaka-pressure.
All I ever wanted was a normal life—not a life full of luxuries, but one filled with love and care.
That was one of those dreams I had almost given up on... not until I met him.

Normally, in most universities, rich students are the ones who are looked up to—popular and idolized by other students. But me? I'm just one of those students who spends most of their time studying alone in the library because I have no friends.
It's not that no one wants to be friends with me; it's just that I don't know how to make friends. Is that even possible? I think so.
Nasanay kasi akong walang naging friends since I was a child because I was always left alone in the house with my yaya since my parents are working abroad. They never let me play outside because what they wanted is for me to focus on my studies. At a very young age, napressure na akong mag aral kasi being the only child, ako lang daw ang magmamana ng mga business namin in the future kaya dapat habang maaga, natututo na akong magfocus sa isang bagay. But, they should atleast let me enjoy my childhood 'no? hays.
My thoughts got interrupted when I was startled with this annoying guy who tapped the table.
"Solana! Tulala kana naman oy" the annoying Anthony again.
"Ano ba, can't you see I'm studying? And don't you know this is a library? Can you stop making annoying sounds?"
"Ayan kana naman e, inienglish mo na naman ako. Ano bang ibig sabihin nun? Baka minimura moko ha?"
"Argh, nevermind. Just shut your mouth"
"Odiba nagmumura ka sabi mo shit!" he said while pointing at me.
I just rolled my eyes to death. "Naglilinis kaba ng ears?"
"Of course naglilinis ako ng ears no!" immitating my voice and the way I talk. How irritating.
I closed my book and fixed my things. It's almost time na pala, I have to attend to my next class na.
"Huy san ka punta? Antayan mo 'ko."
I pretended that I didn't hear him. I walked fast para di na nya ko maabutan. But he is so tall and has long legs kaya madali syang nakasabay sakin.
I stopped walking and looked at him. Napatigil din sya. "Can you stop following me? Don't you have a class?"
"I'm a classmate of you, duh??" immitating the way I talk again while rolling his eyes.
Mali mali pa grammar, wala ba tong english subject noon?
"Fine" i continued walking again.
"Fineapple" he said.
Grr.
~~~~~~~
The last class for today just ended. Atlast, I could go to bed and sleep. It was a very tiring day plus a little iritating since the annoying guy kept on looking at me and making faces while classes are ongoing.
~~~~~~~
I had just finished taking a bath. I sat on my bed and opened my messages to check if there was a message from my parents, but there was none. I was about to lie down and sleep when my phone beeped.
