Things with Alex have been good, I still have feelings for him though. We have been friends for a total of about 5 months and it's been pretty great. My streaming career has also been pretty good, having around 35k people per stream! 

Alex rarely talks about Jessie, they have been dating for 2 weeks I think. He doesn't seem so crazy about her, but that's not my business. I really want to meet Alex in real life, but I haven't gotten around to asking him. 

"Y/n? You there?" Alex asks, we are in a discord call right now.

"Oh yeah sorry haha," I say. 

"What were you thinking about?" He asks. 

"Alex, I want to meet you, like see you in real life. Hug you, I don't know," I say, he sits in silence for a minute.

"Want to?" He asks, my eyes shoot up to his face on the screen.

"Really?!" I say. He smiles.

"Yeah! Y/n you have no idea how bad I want to meet you, I'm literally buying a ticket now!" He says frantically typing. 

"Alex, you have no idea where in Washington I live, also....what about Jessie?" I ask, she would not like Alex coming out to see me. 

"I uh...broke up with her...today," He says, wow. 

"Oh...wanna talk about it?" I ask. 

"No...uh where in Washington do you live? I'm booking a plane for tonight." He says, the mood lightens up again and suddenly we are both smiling. 954 miles away I can feel his happy self. 

"I live close to Seattle so book it to where you land in SeaTac," I tell him. 

"Okay...it's gonna take me 2 and a half hours, I need to leave in 1 hour so I have time. My landing gate is going to be B6, I will text you late but I have to pack!" He says waving frantically. 

"Bye Alex!" I say.

"Bye Y/n!" He says, then leaves the call. I do as well. 

I can't believe I'm going to meet my best friend. 

A/n Sorry it's short, I wrote this at 6 am because I can't sleep. The next chapter is hopefully going to be longer
