Your mother returns and hands both you and your sister a plate of French toast sticks before pouring you both a cup of orange juice.

You & S/N: Thanks mom.

You and your sister finish your breakfast and head out. You say goodbye to your mom and start walking to school.

S/N: I wonder, when Grandma was telling you about monsters and stuff, do you think she could maybe of been talking about magic?

You: It's possible but I doubt it. I mean, magic hasn't been around for years and years.

S/N: Fair enough. But what if... It did.

You: But it doesn't?

S/N: What if it did I mean hear me out on this. What if everyone is using magic, and we just haven't unlocked it yet?

You: You're starting to sound like one of those weird conspiracy people on the internet.

S/N: I'm only kidding, and I know magic doesn't exist. But if it did, what do you think would happen?

You: Well if I had to guess. Crime would go up, people would see magic as a type of hierarchy depending on how strong you are, and some people would try to settle the crime by using it, seeing how strong they are, and use it for crime themselves.

S/N: You just took something so magical... And made it super lame and stupid! Way to take the fun out a fantasy world.

You: That's only what I'd think happen, there's no absolute chance that would be the reality.

S/N: If it was, that would be super grim.

You: I don't know how you can make what I said not grim.

???: Hey, come on girls, I'm just try t-

The brat pushes the girl out of her way and continues walking. You and your sister walk up to the girl and help her up.

S/N: Are you okay?

???: Yeah, I'm fine.

You: Who were those girls?

???: Those three are the meanest girls at school.

S/N: Oh yeah, I've heard of them but I've never had any run-ins with em.

???: I wasn't so lucky.

You: What did you do to them to make them that made at you?

???: According to them, everything.
