✿ FIGHT OF A GUARD ✿ (𝖈𝖔𝖒𝖕𝖑𝖊𝖙𝖊𝖉)

Chapter twenty-five

Yunlan was sitting outside the room being worried sick, many random thoughts are coming and making him more restless about Shen Wei.. He was looking down holding his head and meantime, Lin comes with one nurse, he stops in front of him gritting his teeth

It was clear that Lin was mad at Yunlan.. Yunlan sense his presence and looked up "Here.. Shen Wei's consent form" Lin extend a paper and Yunlan suddenly moves back being scared, he wipes his wet eyes looking at the angry man standing at his head

"It states that if anything happens to Wei during surgery.... The hospital won't take any responsibility" Lin added and both stares at each other, one was mad, and the other was blank, shocked and worried

"Please sign it!"

Yunlan takes the papers as his hands were shivering.. he looked at Lin then at the papers, Lin gives him the pen and Yunlan again stares at him.. He gulped down and slowly sign the papers with shivering hands

Lin snatch the form from his hands and gives it to the nurse, he was about to turn "Lin...." Yunlan stands but receives a deadly stare from the other, Lin points a finger at his face "Shhhh......." His eyes and face was red with anger

Yunlan never sees him this furious which scares him "Had Wei really been your enemy and wanted to kill you and usurp your property!.. It would have been you in his place, today!" Lin shouts but he looks around and takes one step closer to Yunlan

"And the consent form that you just signed.. wouldn't be for him... one of our family would be signing it for you, Brother!.. Please understand at least now!" Lin shouts at Yunlan's face making him startled

"I, myself know that they wanted to stage Shen Wei's accident!.... Proof! Proof!.. How much more proof do you want?" Lin suddenly grabs his shoulders and shoves him harshly as Yunlan was silently staring at his face and tears were dripping on his cheeks

Lin steps back being disappointed with Yunlan "Wei is fighting for life today because of you!.. God forbid, but if he dies would that be proof enough for you?...... Listen to me very carefully.. If at all anything happens to Wei, you would be solely responsible for it, Yunlan"

Yunlan shook his head, eyes filled with tears.. "Do you understand?" Lin threatens him and Yunlan looked down..

Inside, the doctors were operating Wei and one of them hurriedly place an oxygen mask on his face and suddenly Wei's body shivers "Be quick!" One doctor shouts and they start their work to save him

Outside, Yunlan covers his face with his palms.. Lin was pacing back and forth in front of the door holding his waist..

Inside the house, Hong meets someone secretly "Shen Wei meets with an accident and he is now in the hospital!.. His condition is very critical, he may die anytime..." The other one who came to meet Hong told and Hong nods but unknown to them her mother was witnessing everything hiding behind her

"Before that, we must somehow get his thumb impression on the property transfer papers," The other person told Hong and they planned something..

Aunty tries to see the other person's face but she failed as he left and Hong returns thinking something..

In the OT.. doctors worriedly look at each other as the curved line on the monitor start straightening "He is sinking.. his heart rate is dropping low.. he needs to be given a shock... Defibrillator please!"

The head doctor almost shouts in a hurry and his voice reached outside, Yunlan frowns and runs towards the door, he opens it and enters

Shen Wei's body was given shocks, the defibrillator touched his chest and Wei's body rise from the bed and again falls back.. The doctors were repeating the process "I..2..3.. Shock!!"
