Prolongue

My eyes grew wide with dread.lt was midnight.l tried finding a place to hide but to no avail.l tried to get under the bed but it was big enough for me to get in but l wasn't sure if l would get out l mean l do not want to repeat the INCIDENT that required a fire department to be called and for three trucks to come to my rescue the last time l tried to hide.So l just went inside my closet l mean what's the worst that could happen.

My sister,Nione was looking after me talking like a old hag that had spent thirty years of her life eating nothing but rotten apples in a sewer.She was only eight but she acted mature even more mature than me,but l was not going to tell her that not in a million years.Sweat dripped from my forehead onto to my nose,and l felt like the biggest sneez was going to happen but l held it in.I let in some air and felt like l could not breath.I then heard footsteps inching closer every second to where l was.

No,no,no l thought.The closet door slowly opened and Nione had a wide grin on her face and said"Typical hide in the closet",seriously Vee you could have done better than that.Aren't teens supposed to you know be smart.l just rolled my eyes and she poured me with icy water and screamed happy birthday.

I quickly grabbed a coat from the closet and covered myself.From the bottom half going downwards it was soaked wet but right now l didn't care l just wanted some warmth.l had waited to finally become a teenager for the longest time.But l had no idea what l wished for might become a dread.

It was the 13th of March,my birthday.l was exited for this day to come but since it now had l felt dissapointed as l had started my day with an ice shower.

She then handed me a box of bananas and chocolates.l tried to hide my smile but just couldn't l gulped all of the bananas as she went back to her room and closed the door.Who wouldn't like bananas l thought to myself.They are the only things that keep me sane in this world being the middle kid in a family of eleven children.

I tried to go back to sleep but l couldn't.So l grapped my laptop from my dressing table and started watching anime,rewatching my favourite show Hunter x Hunter.I laughed when Leorio said he was a teenager.

Then l thought to myself Am l really a teenager?,l hope its going to be exiting like in the movies. Before long l was already asleep.TEENAGEWORLD HERE I COME!!
