I wonder when it all began
You're just a stranger a few weeks ago
We barely knew each other
You are thousands of miles away
But out of nowhere, you sent "Hi there"
I wasn't impressed or even interested
But it didn't feel right not to respond to your message
You look so sweet and innocent on your profile
Like a fresh mint with a crisp of fully ripe apple
You got me with all your smooth words
I believe you are such a sweet talker
You were engaging and I could see the effort
You wanted to know me more
You wanted to talk to me more
I tried breaking down the wall around me, and I did even just a little
I wanted to know you more
