This short story was somewhere in the late 1700’s in Ireland (which is why there is foreign language in it). Lilly is Ivy’s “top” Follower in Ivy’s own story (Sanctuary). Lilly is Ivy’s best friend and the one she can depend on. Ivy isn’t described much in here because this is Lilly’s story on before she became immortal and devoted her life to serving God and Ivy. Lilly helped Ivy through many hard times; ex: her mother’s death, her twin brother and father’s (whom she’s never met)first meeting, dealing with Shadows, demons, etc.
The point of this story is basically, everyone needs a friend, no matter how lonely they are(or even if they’re immortal Angels from Heaven). It will all lead up to a bigger picture where it creates a masterpiece(at least, I hope). You can’t always hold on and trek all by yourself, bearing the weight of the world. Friendship is important, especially when it saves your life.
