This story is historical fiction. However, it weaves historical interpretations of the Jewish holiday of Purim and the Book of Ester, in an attempt to pain a picture that could be historically accurate.
I began the timeline of the story much earlier than Purim, which allowed me to infer what may have happened before the official story of Purim began.
