Alexis has always believed that you reap what you sow, and your karma will always come back to you. No matter how good or bad it is. And Amber standing in front of her after having sex with Elijah felt like the worst karma ever.

Amber was wearing a sweatshirt and jeans, and her hair was in a bun. She looks like she hasn't slept in days, maybe even longer. Alexis couldn't think of anything as she stared at her friend.

"Why are you here?" Alexis questioned as she stood by her hotel door.

Amber scanned Alexis with her dark brown eyes, "I wanted to talk to you."

Alexis shook her head, but Amber continued, "Please, Alexis. I want to explain my side of the story, please."

Alexis knew she should say no, but she wanted to know why they were sleeping together. She didn't want to speak with Calvin yet. So, she opened the door to her hotel and gestured for Amber to enter the room.

When they entered the room, Alexis walked into the kitchen, and Amber followed. Alexis grabbed herself some water and watched Amber. And Amber watched Alexis.

"What do you want, Amber?" Alexis demanded.

Amber chewed on her bottom lip and sat at the bar, "I wanted to say I'm sorry. I-we were never supposed to go this far."

"What do you mean?" Alexis narrowed her brow, watching Amber.

"Calvin and I have been having an affair for... three years," Amber's words were slow and strained as she spoke.

Alexis felt like the room was spinning. Her heart pounded against her chest; for three years, they were sleeping together. The thing that pissed Alexis off the most was that she thought it was his secretary Candance.

"For three years? The whole time I've been going to you for help, but you've been sleeping with him this whole time?"

"I'm so sorry, Alexis. But it happened. I was looking for you one day, and I stopped by your home. Calvin was there, and he said you were with his mom. I was upset with Kendall, and since you weren't there, I confided in Calvin..." Amber trailed off, but Alexis didn't need her to finish.

It hurts Alexis to hear that her best friend and her husband were sleeping together. But, Alexis couldn't but feel guilty. She's angry for cheating, but not even half an hour ago, she was having sex with Elijah.

The two women were silent. Amber was silently crying to herself, and Alexis watched her. Alexis couldn't feel anything at the moment; it didn't make any sense. She didn't want to cry, scream or even punch Amber.

"Amber," Alexis spoke, her voice surprisingly strong. Amber looked up, her dark brown eyes hopeful. "Get out."

Amber looked confused, "But Alexi-"

"Get out, Amber," Alexis said, her voice never faltering.

Amber stared at Alexis, unsure of what to do. When Alexis opened her mouth to say something, Amber stood from her seat. Her eyes welled up with tears, and one slipped down her cheek. She turned on her heels and left the hotel room.

Alexis stood in the kitchen for several minutes, her mind empty, except for the image of Calvin and Amber laying naked in her bed. She felt stupid for letting Amber in here; it didn't do anything but make Alexis feel like the dumbest person on the planet. Alexis finally left the kitchen and went to take a shower.

Once she was done, she entered the bedroom. She sat on the bed and stared at the blank tv screen. Her mind still replayed the images of her husband, and her friend, even the lingering scent of Elijah on her clothes didn't flush those images away.
