It has always seemed like I treated him as a little brother, as all of us have with each other. But when have these feelings changed? Perhaps it was when I started to notice him even more when I watched him dance on stage. His charisma, his focus, his flawless movements and his presence on stage, you could see it all, even when he was at the back of the group. I remember waking up to see him practicing all night, to get his moves right. The sweat rolling down his face, glistening in the light as it slowly rolled down his neck, made me tremble. I tried to ignore this feeling and brushed it off as admiration. All of us knew how dedicated Kai was towards dancing and the way his expression changes the moment he starts dancing, and how strong his back looked as he looked while we were on stage, made my heart flutter. Of course, it was just Kai's effect on everyone that watches him, right? And today was no different.

While practicing, I couldn't help but watch as his muscles peeked out from under his shirt. The way his hips sway to the music, it made me dizzy.

"Kris? Hello, Kris?" I snapped out of my thoughts as I looked away from the mirror and looked at where the voice was coming from. "Focus on the dance."

I nodded sheepishly towards the dance instructor, before looking back into the mirror. My heart skipped a beat as I saw Kai smirking back at me, as the music started again. I muttered an "excuse me", before running out of the room. You see, although I was a beta, my scent could still affect others. I was afraid my pheromones might spread around the room with the way I was feeling right now. With Kai being an Alpha, it would only make me feel even worse than I am now, seeing that his scent was starting to get stronger and stronger. I had to cover my nose as I got into the stall and clenched my eyes shut to calm myself down. Kai's scent was not supposed to affect me as much as it did now. I shivered as I felt his presence in the vicinity. I felt myself hyperventilating, and slowly losing consciousness, before everything went dark.

I groaned as I awoke, burying my face deeper into the pillow, at the intoxicating scent. It felt as if I was lying in the woods, right after the rain stopped. I sat up immediately, as soon as I heard a chuckle.

"I see that you're enjoying my bed?" Kai smirks as he slowly makes his way to the edge of the bed.

"Why am I here?" I frowned as I looked around the room.

"You fainted in the bathroom. I told the others and brought you back here, since it's the closest." He sat on the bed and reached over to touch my forehead, causing me to blush slightly. "You don't feel hot, but why are you red?"

I bit my lips as I tried to calm myself down, looking everywhere else but at him. He was supposed to be a shy alpha that I wanted to protect like a little brother, how did he get so attractive?

"You know, if you keep silent like that but keep emitting those scents, I will be getting the wrong idea." Kai gently pulls my chin up, so that I would look him right in the eye. "I have seen you staring Kris. I can feel your eyes raking over my body, as if you were trying to feel whatever that is underneath with just your eyes."

I shivered even more as he sat next to me, his scent getting even stronger and his body heat was starting to feel like it was burning me. I let out an accidental whimper as I watched him stare down at every inch of my body, and gently caress my thigh.

"You should get more rest." Kai stood up as he caressed my face, before kissing my head gently. "I will be back to check on you later."

"Kai," I grabbed his hand when he was about to leave. "Stay with me, please."

"Say it more clearly Kris." He bends down, placing his face really close to mine.

"Will you stay with me forever, as my mate, please?" I looked down at his lips shyly.

"Took you long enough," Kai smirked as he pulled me into him, before getting into bed with me. "Now, rest. We can talk more tomorrow."
