Part - 4

Jungkook came home and didnt see Eun. He didnt think much as it was only 7 in the evening. So he went to his room to freshen up

Around 8:30 he came out to cook dinner but didnt see any trace of Eun being home. He shrugged it off and started cooking. He finished cooking and waited for Eun to come.

It was past 10. But Eun didnt show up.
Jungkook got anxious. He tried calling her but her line was engaged.

He called Somin to ask about Eun.

Over the phone~
Somin : Hello?
Jungkook : Noona, do you know where Eun is?
Somin : What? Its past 10 and you are asking where Eun is?
Jungkook : Noona, I-

Jungkook got an incoming call.

Jungkook : Noona, I am getting another call. I will call you back.

Jungkook hanged up Somin's call and took up the unknown number's call.

Jungkook : Hello?
??? : Is this Park Eun's guardian?
Jungkook :Yes! Where is she?

It was the cops who called Jungkook. The karoke owner gave Beomgyu and Eun's bag late in the night to the police station.

Cops found Eun's university Id card in her bag and called Jungkook.

Jungkook came running inside the station and saw Eun sitting sleeping hugging her overcoat due to the coldness. Her face looked red due to the slap and her hair was messed up.

Cop 1 : Who are you?

The Cop saw Jungkook looking at Eun.

Cop 1: Oh that girls guardian?
Jungkook : Yes ,sir.

Cop told Jungkook what happened and let Eun go with him.

Cop 2 : Miss wakeup! Ur guardian is here

Eun opened her eyes and saw Jungkook talking to the other cop.

Cop 2 : Here is your bag, miss!

Eun took her bag and went near Jungkook and stood.

Cop 1 :Dont get in any problems again, miss.
Eun : Bye sir. (she bowed a little)

Jungkook didnt say anything and went to his car followed by Eun.

The drive was completely silent.
They reached home and Eun went to her room.

She took shower and sat on the dressing table and saw her reddened face on the mirror. She touched her corner of lips and winced in pain.

She came to bed and laid down. Suddenly heared a knock on the door. She was confused to give any reply. Then heard door unlocking and Jungkook came in.

Eun sat up straight. Jungkook sat on the bed beside her. He took out cotton and oinment from the box he brought and applied it for Eun. Eun was staring at him with no reaction on her face.

Jungkook(while applying medicine) : Why did you fight?
Eun : They were so annoying!

Jungkook was in disbelief.

Jungkook : Why didnt you call me then?

Eun remained silent.

Jungkook : Do you think I dont care about you?
Eun : Do you think you care?
Jungkook : *sigh* Eun ah, I know I didnt treat u good, but it doesnt mean I dont care about you.
Eun : *silence again* Then tell me why you are avoiding me?
Jungkook : I am just not used to this. How can I suddenly accept a kid, who I raised, to be my wife?
Eun : Are we not friends Jungkook?
Jungkook : Eun ah. I cant explain u why I am like this. But I know u can understand. 'Eun' can understand. Better than anyone.
