Ringo awoke in with a cry as he looked down at the bloody bed sheets, "G- George." He said and the younger man woke up to comfort Ringo after he saw.
"You should just leave me, find someone younger, healthier, someone who can give you what you want." Ringo cried and George shushed him as he stroked his hair.
"Ringo I love you, and all I want is you, I'm going to be with you till you say otherwise." George said as he kissed Ringo again.
They went to the doctors and had the baby taken out and buried, it hurt Ringo. All he wanted was to be able to give George a child, and he couldn't even do that.
George hugged him when they returned home and cleared the bed sheets, "It'll be okay." George said before kissing Ringo's head.
"George, we've been trying for five years, this is our 7th miscarriage, why do you stay with me?" Ringo asked from his curled up state on the bed.
"Because I love you and that isn't going to change." George said as he hugged Ringo from behind.
Ringo always got so sad when he was pregnant because after the first three times he knew something was bound to go wrong, miscarriage, still birth, sickness, you name it.
"I'm pregnant." He said to George and George hugged him, he wanted to support Ringo as much as he could during this period.
"It'll be okay," George said and Ringo shook his head and backed away from George with tears forming in his sunken blue eyes, "no it won't. George, my body is tired, I'm 42 years old, everytime we try something happens. Why don't you just leave me already?! Why do you torture yourself by staying with me? You're family hates me, my family hates me." Ringo said defeated as he sat against the wall gripping at his hair.
"Ringo please," George said, "you're perfect just the way you are. I don't need someone younger, all I need is you, we've been together for 11 years. I'm not throwing that away for anything." George said and Ringo just stayed in a ball.
"If it's a girl you want her name to be Lee, if it's a boy Dhani, remember?" George said as he hugged Ringo.
"Be honest with me George, do you really think this pregnancy will work?" Ringo asked George, "I do." George said and Ringo looked at his knees.
He let out a chuckle, something George hadn't heard from his husband in quite a while. "I want the nursery to be blue with white clouds." He said with tears of hope running down his face.
"And I wanna take them to school on the first day and gush about how big they're growing. And on prom night I want to interview their date like parents in those cheesy 80's movie. And I wanna hold them if they have a nightmare." Ringo said as the tears ran down his face though a smile remained on his face.
"We will," George smiled, "we'll get to do all of that." George said as he pressed a kiss to his husband's forehead.
The following months Ringo seemed happier, but almost as if he knew something was going to happen. His bump was a healthy size and the pair found out they were expecting twins which made Ringo and George leap with joy.
During his seventh month of pregnancy Ringo started having pains. "G- George, I think I'm going into labor." Ringo said as he clutched his bump in pain.
"Okay get in the car I'll get the bag. Deep breaths in, and out." George said as he slung the bag over his shoulder and helped Ringo into the car.
"G- George, hurts!" Ringo said and George tried driving faster as he kept his hand over Ringo's bump. "We're almost there." He said and Ringo nodded as he kept doing his breathing.
