??? POV.

I walk towards the red Ford pickup truck and sat down on the passenger's side.

I sighed, waiting for the girls to finish packing and getting ready.

As I waited I pulled out a photo of my family. It was small and fragile, yet valuable to me.

The photo was me and my parents during Christmas. Ever since I graduated college and got my bachelor's degree, I wanted to live with my friends. After a while my parents agreed, sending me away with a photo, to cherish our time together.

We all live in a two story house with two bedrooms, so one of us sleeps on a mattress, Which is me. Because as they say, I have boy cooties.

I put the photo away in my small backpack, I lowered down the sun visor with a tiny mirror on it, I take a good look at my self.

I have brown hair and wearing a maroon/ brown t-shirt.

One of the girls, Taylor or as we call her Kat. Has dyed light pink hair with pink contacts. A light skin tone that takes forever to clean up.

The other girl, Tessa or as we call her May. Has a light brown hair and purple contacts. A darker skin tone then Taylor.

Unlike them, I have a darker skin tone than both of them and my eyes are actually green, with no contacts at all. My real name is Mathew, but The girls usually call me Zero, because somehow I had no Zeros on tests when I was in elementary.

Of course all of that changed ever since we moved to college.... but they still liked it.

I lowered up the visor and waited for the girls to come out

I lowered up the visor and waited for the girls to come out. It's taking them forever.

I hear mumbling from the outside of the truck. Then the drivers door was opened.

Taylor crawled into the seat. Tessa climbed into the backseat with all of the luggage.

I take a look at what the girls packed. Well they has at least 5 luggage and 6 mini bags. Ok.

HOLD UP WHAT NOW?!?

I turned to the girls, giving them a concerned look. These people need to chill.

"What the Heck Kat?!? What is all this, you know we're only going camping for nearly three days!" I scolded her.

"I know but what about our clothes and stuff, our makeup is important too!" Taylor whined.

"Oh sure, it's not like someone is walking around the camping grounds for no reason while looking at some hot girls going camping. WE ARE GOING TO THE WOODS TAYLOR" I Hissed.

"Well look at your bags zero! You have a lot too!" Taylor huffed while pointing at my luggage and small backpack.

I gave her the "you serious now?" Eye.

We started to argue again until we heard a thump, Multiple actually.

We both turned around to see Tessa throwing some unnecessary equipment and bags out of the car. Like she is legit throwing it.

She looked at us and shrugged. Taylor sighed before starting the car in defeat.

Once we we're on the road we played some lovely tunes on the radio and started singing. The campsite was only an hour away so we had some time to our selves.

An hour later we arrived at our camping site, Exhausted. We all got off and set up our tents. The girls shared one so I had the other all to myself, Which I'm not complaining.

It was late at night and we all sang songs together as well as eating s'mores.

I got up and headed towards Taylor, she glanced at me then gave a small smile. I nodded towards my tent telling her that I'm heading to bed. She smiled brightly in response, guessing that's a yes. I looked at Tessa, her eyes were heavy and she looked like she was going to pass out at any moment.

I nudged at Taylor and whispered "Hey look's like May needs her beauty rest" I joked. Taylor laughed softly and quietly. "Then I guess we're going to bed as well." She chuckled before getting up and walking towards Tessa.

I looked around the campground for a bit then went inside the tent. I placed my backpack and set up my sleeping bag. I lay down, making myself comfortable and turned off my lantern.

But something caught my eye.

I turned back on my fake lantern because my real one was in the truck, And looked at my backpack. It was a journal that slipped out of the front pocket of my backpack.

I remembered that I found this journal while I was hiking one day by myself. I saw the journal on a pile of rocks and picked it up, dusting it off I put it in my pack but never bothered to look inside. Well since everyone is already asleep, why not open it now.

I unlocked it and turned to the first page.

I mean of course the story I told my sister wasn't this detailed but I decided to add some just because.
