' ' BEEP! ' '

I sat down at the dining table as I spoke to myself in my mind. There were plates in front of the five chairs around the table. Rasazy sat beside me while my dad was already sitting across from me. Mom walked over and sat next to dad, glancing at the empty seat beside me.

" I wonder where Y/N is- " She spoke, looking around.

" They were up all night last night. Said they'd take a nap at 7am. " Dad spoke in reply. I looked at him.

" Doing what-?? " I folded my wings behind me as I questioned dad. What would someone do until 7am?

" 'Making their room livable' they said. " He shrugged. " We probably should have helped. "

" Oh the poor thing- " Mom looked a bit guilty.

" I'm sure it's alright, we'll find out when they wake up. " Rasazy spoke.

" Yeah it's cool, I managed alright. " All of us jumped as we heard Y/N's voice, we looked and saw them leaning on the doorframe to the kitchen. They were dressed pretty nicely, a [F/C] shirt with a black leather jacket and black jeans, with (favorite dark color [F/D/C]) boots. Their (hair color [H/C]) hair was a bit ruffled but still looked good.

" Oh- goodmorning, Y/N! Did you sleep well for the little sleep you got-? " Mom asked, and Y/N nodded.

" Yep. Thank you so much for letting me stay- I'm trying to find a place to go as soon as I can- uhm- " Y/N rubbed the back of their neck slightly. They looked kinda cute when they were guilty.

" Nonsense! You're free to stay here as one of us! " Mom smiled.

" Wait- seriously-? I don't wanna be a burden to you guys- uhm- "

" It's k. You seem more polite than this little demon. " Dad flicked me between the eyes lightly.

" I- hey-!! " Dad chuckled slightly as I huffed. Y/N giggled a little.

" Thanks- really- I can't thank you all enough- " Y/N smiled, god they were so cute when they smiled.

" Of course! " Mom smiled as Rasazy pointed to the chair beside me.

" Sit beside my brother. Breakfast is getting cold. " She looked at Y/N.

" Oh- okay- " Y/N sat on the other side of me, and everyone started eating.

" This is my sister Rasazy, by the way, Y/N. " I whispered to them and gestured to my sister.

" Awh- she seems sweet- " They whispered back, giggling softly. Rasazy looked at us.

" Who're you talking about? " I turned to her and smiled, poking her cheek.

" You. " Rasazy smiled a bit, and I glanced at Y/N, who was smiling. They still looked a bit nervous, but they'd be alright, right?

We all finished eating and mom went to do the dishes. Dad went to the living room with Rasazy. I looked at Y/N again.

" Want me to show you around? It's a bit place that's easy to get lost in- so don't go wandering around by yourself, k? " Y/N smiled.

" Okay! Thank you Sel! " They stood up, blowing their hair out of their face.

" Mmkay- follow me. " I chuckled slightly and also stood, showing them around our living area. I then led them around the actual church, mostly through the main room and a few of the hallways. Not much was beyond that, however.

" Aaaand that's pretty much it. " I looked at Y/N, who was looking around in awe. " Pff- it's not that impressive, is it? " They looked at me.

" I've never really been somewhere so big- just my house and the grocery store- heh- " They held their hands behind their back. I nodded slightly.

" Well that changes today, and now you live here. " I pat their head as I started walking the other way, back to the main part of the church. " Now come on, let's go chill in the main room I guess- "

" O-Okay-! " I didn't notice Y/N, smiling and a bit red faced behind me, trying not to squeal. They followed close beside me, and I unconsciously spread my wing out behind them.

" BEEP! "

" Eh-?? What was that?? " Y/N flinched at the sudden noise and halted, close at my side. I looked around.

" I'm not su- "

" Beep! "

I looked down in front of us. There was a small dude with neon blue hair, a red hat with a blue brim, and a white T-shirt with a red circle with a red line struck through it.

" ...who the hell are you- " I said in annoyance, I could spot Y/N shrink a little. Jeez they were nervous around people.

" Beep bop skdep! {Hey! I'm Keith!} "
