           Scarlet hurry were gonna be late" her mother yelled, pansy Parkinson mother of Scarlet Parkinson. Scarlet's father passed before she was born leaving her and her mom alone for most of her life, her mother in the past had had a few past relationships most of which not working out so when her mother told her she was getting married she was immensely confused she hadn't even met the guy.

"coming mother" she yelled back, Scarlet decided on wearing something simple to meet her future step father, a long black silk dress that clings to her body, with a rather low neck line showing the top of her breasts.

Her mother had told her to dress to impress because of the restaurant her fiance booked for them. 

little time skip to restaurant- I wont do many of these through the story 

once they arrived at the restaurant they were seated immediately " wow mum who ever made these reservations must me very important, this place seems only for the best" Scarlet said sarcastically while rolling her eyes " well I wouldn't say very important" a low smug voice responded behind her, Scarlet turned to see a tall man.... a very tall man with stark white hair and the bluest eyes she had ever seen . Her and her mother stood to greet the tall man, "hello love!!" Pansy screeched in a loud voice obviously pleased to see her fiance making her daughter roll her eyes, "Hello, who might you be?" The tall man asked Scarlet while extending her hand to take it "Scarlet Parkinson" she responded while taking his hand "and you might be?" she asked with her hand in his. 

"Malfoy, Draco Malfoy" He responded while kissing her knuckles making her smile lightly. They proceeded to take there seats at the table Draco and Scarlet sitting across from one another while Pansy sat next to Draco, "So Mr. Malfoy how did you meet my mother?'' Scarlet asked curious on how her mother met such a beautiful man.... she was almost jealous her self " please call me Draco But me and your mom met in school and I just recently ran into her months ago and we decided to reconnect'' he replied with a smile. 

" so when do you think the wedding will be hosted mum, have you set a date?" She asked curiously, Draco interrupted '' were thinking the 20th of January" '' that's really soon" Scarlet's eyes widened. " Yes I understand that Scar but we just really want to do it sooner that later, if you will excuse me I have to use the loo" Pansy left the table not wanting to discuss the date further leaving her fiance and her daughter alone. 

"I-Im sorry about my mom she can be-" She was cut off by a foot rubbing up and down he calf, looking up meeting his gaze, " its ok Scarlet ive known your mom for a long time... I understand" he said calmly trying to sooth her and distract her from her annoyed and angry previous state she was in, which was clearly working. Draco's foot continued higher up her dress making her gasp slightly and butterfly's started to form in her stomach, trying to distract herself from his touch she asked " u-um Draco what do you do for work?'' she asked with a slight awkwardness in her voice " im an auror for the Ministry of Magic" He said still working up and down her leg slowly. " And you? are you still in school? your mother mentioned you were 19 but never mentioned What you do for a living" He asked genuinely curious," well I know its not much but I am working at a small book shop in Diagon Ally and I do hope to write my own book some day." she responded... never breaking eye contact. "well I think Its an amaz-" Draco was cut off by his fiance "Im back love, what did I miss?'' Pansy said in a high pitched voice, Draco's foot quickly pulled away leaving Scarlet missing his touch..... Just a little. "well.." Draco cleared his voice " your lovely daughter was just telling me how she would like to write her own novel one day" he said while eyeing Scarlet with a smirk. " Oh yes that silly book of hers, personally I don't think its worth her time.... its a quite dumb goal to have in my opinion, don't you think Draco" Pansy said dismissively.

Draco stared at his fiance in disbelief, why would she talk about her own daughter in such a way he thought to himself, " I was actually gonna say that's an amazing goal to have love, I would like to read it if it ever gets to be complete if you don't mind" he said while sweetly smiling at Scarlet. Pansy scoffed in disbelief, "sure I would love that , thank you" she said with misty eyes from what both her mother and Draco had said to her. 

"So Scar I know you've only just met Draco but I would really like him to come and live with us, how does that sound?" Pansy said in a hopeful voice totally dismissing the discussion that just happened " I would not be opposed to the offer, when may I ask mother?" she asked, " Well I would like him to move in tonight that's what this dinner was for" she said with a face smile plastered on her face. 

Scarlet takes a big breath trying to process it all,trying to think. "Sure mother that's fine" she responds quickly not making eye contact with either of them. 

2 days later 

Draco Is eventually fully moved in to Scarlet's and Pansy home, true to Scarlet's word she didn't mind much if anything he was a breath of fresh air. Having him around made her happy he would make meals on occasion and have normal conversations with her unlike her mother who is always trying to pick a fight in front of Draco... almost like shes trying to get rid of her.

Scarlet and Draco both sitting on the couch next to each other, ''Hey Draco and scar im gonna be out of town for work for about roughly 5 days do you think you will be good to stay with each other for a couple of days?" "sure hun Ill be fine, what about you red your ok with staying with me a few days?" Pansy made a face at Draco from the nick name he gave her. " yea that's fine" she said while making eye contact with Draco.

Scarlet has loved Draco's company these past few days, she secretly loved every little touch hes given her even if was a subtle brush of there fingers while passing. And secretly so had he. 

I hope you liked the first chapter and I hope you get the nick name Draco gave Scarlet if you don't Scarlet is a shade of red so um yea.. ill try to update as much as I can. -Lilliana
