editing is really fun for me! i love doing it and i love talking about it, so i am happy to help <3

BEFORE YOU READ !

a little "before you read," or something
like that. i don't really want to call them
"rules" since this isn't a shop or anything,
but i still want to set them:

i. please do not take any of the
graphics that i use/post here

they are all just for example
purposes, but i still made them.
plus, the point of this book to
teach and/or help you with
making your own graphics

ii. please note that everyone
has their own editing style!!

i, of course, have my own as
well, and ofc different styles
appeal to different people! that
being said, i may not be able
to help with a certain style
you might request

iii. please please PLEASE credit
the artist(s) of certain graphics
and/or renders you find

a lot of people don't do that and
it just pains me HAHA. especially
when render artists demand credit
but don't credit the real artist
themselves. the exception ofc is
official art from the anime/game/
manga you're editing from. oh,
and if the artist has a "do not
repost/print" on their bio, then
please just don't use it

iv. you can ask me for help from
regular photo editing, gif editing,
and even video editing!

my video edits are accessed from
the link in my bio (minus the tumblr
one) LOL. just please note that from
the three i mentioned, it will get
harder and more complicated for
me to explain down the line (aka
photo edits are easier than the rest).
also if you ever mention i write
fanfics on my editing platforms i will
punch you (but very softly bc ily)

v. please note that i am not the
best and i cannot help with
everything :')

this kinda goes back to the style
thing. also especially with video
editing, i'm really new to that—
i pretty much only started late
march (how early that is depends
on when you're reading this; it's
early august for me rn LOL)

vi. please do not request help on
things that have already been
explained!

with the exception that you need
more elaboration, of course! :)
also, the next chapter after this
one will be the apps and sizes
so please don't ask that either

vii. please only request on the
request page!

it's just easier for me to navigate
in general LOL. the title of the
designated chapter will say
"request" on it

viii. keep everything 2D/anime/
animated video games/cartoons/
etc. please!

do note that i have never
(unironically) edited real life
people before so it's not really
my specialty, nor do i know a
lot about it :')

ix. please be respectful; editing
is my biggest passion atm and
i'm sure everyone is just here to
learn! :)
