The crowd was hyping up and they are very much wilding. Sobrang lakas ng sigawan sa loob ng arena nang magsimula ang laro. I can’t even hear my own breathing because of the noises coming from the surroundings.
“Bola! Potangina, pumasok ka!” sigaw ni Ashley habang nakatayo at nakatingin sa court, si Zach kasi ang may hawak ng bola. “Woah!”
Zach passed the ball to Josh who was patiently waiting for the ball to go to him in order for him to shoot that. Pumusisyon siya sa labas ng bilog at ibinato ang bola papasok ng ring.
“Tiu, for three!” the announcer said.
Nagsigawan ang mga UP students nang maka-puntos si Josh. He smiled at the crowd that gained some screams. Nakita kong binatukan pa siya ng teammates niya. He glanced at our direction and smiled at me. I rolled my eyes at him.
Ang yabang!
The game was intense dahil nasa-kalagitnaan na ng third quarter. Dikit na dikit ang scores. Halos hindi na magkumahog ang fans ng Fighting Maroons at Blue Eagles kapag nakaka-puntos.
I was intently watching Josh and he played. He looks determine to win I must say. He’s not the captain but sometimes, he gives some instructions to his teammates. Ngayon ko lang siya nakitang serysoso. Lagi ko kasi siyang nakikita na nakatawa at laging chill lang. Right now, he really looks determined and very focus on the game.
I just can’t believe na may ganito syang side. Lagi kasi siyang nakaka-inis at nakaka-badtrip. Tapos madaldal pa!
“Nikko! Ano na? Uupo ka lang?” barumbadong tanong ni Ashley. “Mag-enjoy ka naman!”
I sneered at her and continue to watch the game silently. I’m a very competitive person so I’m kinda enjoying the game. The game was intense. Nalaman ko ‘rin na the two teams are rival last season dahil sila ‘rin lang naman ang naglaban last year.
“Oh!” I gasped when I saw Josh fell on the floor.
