How did I fall for someone like him?

*Aizawa's pov*

No one knows too much about me. No one besides my best friend, Hizashi Yamada. We became friends when we started school at UA. I never really liked him at first. Thought he was too cheery for a person. I still think he is, plus he's louder than he was when we were younger. Someone like that wouldn't want to hang out with someone like me, but he was much different from everyone else I had ever met. Hizashi was actually my first true friend, I'm surprised he stayed friends with me this for this long. But since our high school years I grew feelings for him, and throughout the rest of our friendship to now my feelings have gotten stronger.

"SHOUTAAA! There you are!" There it is. The loud, obnoxious voice I hear pretty much everyday. Makes me wonder how we even became friends. I mean, think about it. Someone as quiet and tired as me, became friends with someone as loud and over energetic as him.

"Zashi..its 8am. Tone it down a little. You can probably wake the whole country with your quirk." I was too tired to deal with him.

"Aww. Come on Sho! Don't be such a meanie you know you love me!" He says that, but he doesn't think it's actually true. Zashi is just as he was in high school, dumb and way to excited for no reason.

"Its still way too early for your loudness. Why are you excited anyway? I see no point in being excited."

"I'm always excited you know this. And there has to be something that makes you happy, other than cats."

"My love for cats has nothing to do with you being obnoxious." My love of cats is probably bigger than my love for him.

"Yeah yeah, anyways I was wondering if you'd want to hangout today? Like we did back in our school days, have some fun!" He's truly annoying, but I never passed down an opportunity to hangout with him so I accepted.

"Sweet! See you after classes Sho!" Mic turned away from me with a wink and walked out of the teachers lounge. Time seemed to stop for me as my face grew red. He's winked at me countless times yet it still managed to get me thinking if he means it in the way I hope it does. I push the thought away and head to my class.

*Hizashi's pov*

Classes were nearing an end finally. I couldn't wait to hangout with Shota! The two of us have been friends since we were teenagers, I'd say we're pretty close friends. I'll even admit to have a crush on him, and you'd think he would know about it by now with how much I flirt with him, but I've always been a very flirty person so it's pretty understandable why he hasn't picked up on it. *Riiiiiiiiing* Finally! School was up and all students rush out while I walk out behind them headed to the teachers lounge.

"Hey hey, how's my favorite cat boy?" I say sliding up next to Shota. Saying that was was a bad idea, I only say that because now I'm being squeezed to death with his scarf.

"Call me that again I'll squeeze you until your spine breaks into million."

"Yeah okay just let me go before that happens now!" He releases me from the hold and turns back to his work. I stare down at him for a moment before speaking.

"Are we gonna go hang out or just sit here and work? Cause you did agree to go out today." Shota looks up at me and sighs standing up.

"Where did you plan to go?" There we go. I smile and take his arm and drag him out of the building.

*No ones POV*

Shota and Hizashi's day together went much differently than Aizawa had thought it would. Instead of doing the things Hizashi would have normally done like going to an arcade and playing a bunch of random games, they took walks around different places, went into all sorts of shops, it was actually kind of relaxing to him.

*Aizawa's pov*

Today didn't go as I had thought it would. Usually Hizashi would drag me into some dumb arcade but this time we just walked around and went shopping. It was..pleasant.

"So..where are we going next?" Zashi didn't answer my question he just smiled and kept walking. Is he planning something? We walk further into the city when he stops.

"Uh, is everything okay?" He turned to me with a smile.

"Stay here I'll be right back." Yup he's planning something and I don't know if I should trust him or not. He runs across the street and into an abandoned apartment building. I get a bad feeling but decide to wait for him to come back out. 2 minutes pass, I'm getting impatient. As I'm about to go check on him he walks out of the building holding a crate. An..animal crate? Did he...no.

"Hey I got you a little something." He smiles with a tint of blush covering his face. He places the crate down and opens it, out comes a small fluffy black kitty.

"Oh my god..you got me a kitten!? Why?" I pick up the small cat with a wide smile on my face.

"Because...I uh. I love you Shota, and I want you to go out with me." Hizashi looks away a smile still plastered on his face. I look at him surprised.

"I..you..Zashi. Yes!" Zashi turns back to me with a shocked yet happy expression.

"Are you serious? Or are you just agreeing because I got you a cat?"

"That could be apart of the reason. But I agreed because I've been in love with you since high school."

"You're adorable. I love you..my little cat boy."

"Just because I agreed to go out with you doesn't mean you get to call me that. I love you to Zashi." We share a tender kiss wall back to Zashi's apartment for the night.
